If the QB doesnt play for Ga Tech this will be a double digit win for THE U, no threat of the QB keeper on the option against a very fast Def

#5I'm on Miami +4. They looked great last week and I expect that trend to continue. If Va Tech couldn't run against them I think GTech will have problems too, and they can't pass so that makes them really one dimensional. I think the Canes will come out and shut down the run game. If they do that, they win out right.Comment -

#7GT only quality win was against FL State and BC. While the U defeated Wake, VA and VT in the last 3 weeks. The U has the momentum and they are playing a very balance good old smashmouth football. The only plus for GT is that they are playing at home. My lean is with the U. They are just playing better football than GT right now.Comment -

#10If Nesbitt doesn't play then i am really going to take Georgia Tech for sure. The Hurricane will have to face a quarterback that they haven't been able to game plan for. that is always a recipe for disaster, as he may have a whole different skill set than the starter. I will buy the hook off to get back on the key number, and play it at Georgia Tech-3. If the line goes downto GT-3 on it's own, then i will play the game at GT-2.5.

#14Paul Johnson expects both QBs to be ready
November 19, 2008 2:53 PM
Posted by ESPN.com's Heather Dinich
Georgia Tech coach Paul Johnson said Wednesday he expects starting quarterback Josh Nesbitt (sprained ankle) and backup Jaybo Shaw (leg) to both be able to play on Thursday night against Miami. Shaw's injury seems to remain a mystery, but Johnson said his No. 2 quarterback is 100 percent.
"All of a sudden on Friday his leg swelled up," Johnson said. "He couldn't figure out why, didn't think he got hit on it. He missed a couple of days, but he's back full speed, so I know we've got him, and we think we're going to have Josh, so we should have both of them ready for the game."
If the Jackets are going to have a chance, they definitely will need Nesbitt.

#23Nesbitt to start, but status still questionable

ATLANTA, Ga. -- Josh Nesbitt is supposed to start, but he's not 100 percent. His durability is so uncertain that coach Paul Johnson told Dean Buchan, the sports information director, that they want to see how Nesbitt warms up, just in case. We'll see if he can make it through the whole game.Comment -

#25Ok K-Kid........Lets think about this. VT/Mia was 16-14. Now GT has more offence than VT and less defence than VT. So I think they can score more on Miami and allow Miami to score more. A over 34.5 seems more achievable. Just a thought.Comment -

#26gonna be a low scoring defensive battle with GT pulling it out with a FG.
Both teams have good defensive and both teams like to run the ball.
I think the tease is the best bet personally
Miami +10.5
U 48.5
but I'm not on it, however I need GT -3 to cash final leg of 4 team parlay
and I got Miami +10.5 in a couple teasersComment -
