I disagree with Doubledown. Ball St is averaging 100more yards per game than NIU as well as 10 more pts per game. You can say that they have not played anybody, but they have not had any problems putting up points.

Also Ball St's QB is having an incredible year with over 2,000 yds passing, 15 TDs and only 5 Ints.

The line is just right at 9. I'm taking Ball St at home -9.

there isn't a chance NIU gives up 35 points...not their defense at least...this is a close game, could go either way str8 up...yeah their qb is playing great, but will face a defense twice as good as any he' seen in 5 weeks, if he played conference d's this good weekly he would have a stat line around 1400-11-7

NIU did give up 31 to Minnesota and 29 to Western Michigan. However both were early in the season.

ball state is averaging around 40.25 points roughly at home
niu is averaging 24.75 points on the road.
Defensively niu is giving up 18.75 points on the road to teams
ball state gives up 18.25 points at home to teams.
at home ball state is averaging a 22.25 margin of victory in there home wins.

im just not convinced yet on niu, defensively they look good with what they give up points wise but i cant see ball state not scoring 30+ in this game with niu maybe getting 3 tds

I'm in on the over. The NIU fan made some good points on their behalf but I'm not sold yet. The line just moved to 8.5 on the site I'm on and if I were going to bet it, which I'm not, I think I'd lean on Ball st -8.5

Should have pulled the trigger last night @ +9.5, was hoping to get it @ 10, just got it @ +8, hope that 1.5 doesnt hurt me, I see this being a very very close game,NIU will control the clock, pound the run and play great Def.
