Im sure it is a ton of people in here that has been to vegas and used one on the million sportsbooks they have to offer, my question is, does anybody have any advice as to which one is the best to use I know this will all be a matter of opinion but im going out for the first time and I cant seem to get any of my questions answered on the phone from any of the sportsbooks so I thought why not ask the world we talk about sports in here heck it seems it a conversation on just about everything in here. So any and all advice would be greatly appreciated, the sportsbooks, VIP's, wager limits, anything you guys can think of. I want to thank all of you for your time and help. And remember GET PAID!

#4How does that drink ticket thing work sounds like a drag. I guess people not betting just sitting in the books drinking without action killed it?Comment -

#5Im really not concerned with the drinks just with which sportsbook i can go to to wager the most money on a single game, which book has the best line, least amount of problems cashing out, which book I can buy points for the NBA and NFL (3 pts) and which book has the best treatment for those who want to wager in excess of 10k on a single game. Thanks for your help.Comment -

#6Get ready for some paper work on anything over 10K. You have no worries getting paid on any bet you get down at the big properties on the strip. If you stay at the hotel and play the tables and the sportsbook managers don't know you, then you should be able to bet fairly big(higher than limits posted). Unless you start kicking there ass then it will change. But if you go out for a week it won't matter. If you live there or are moving there I'm not familiar with the current limits. But like other posters said, Bellagio,MGM,Caesars,Hilton(Aria?) probably have the highest limits.Comment -

#10I think some sportsbooks (Hilton and Imperial Palace?) open up the showrooms and put a bunch of big screen tv's in there for NFL Sunday.
If you need drink tix you might be better off making a few horse wagers and then ask the teller...Comment -

#11Just for the record forum I do not drink so the drink tickets are really not a concern to me at all just making money on these games. And if I ask something in here wrong or you guys dont understand just ask me and I will do my best to explain it better, im really just trying to get some advice about vegas sportsbook before i go out there, but i do know about the games and lines Im not foreign to that just want to maximize my profits and brxbmbers what diff. does it make if this is my first time out to vegas or not, if they would let me bet more I would trust me, we all spend what we can i dont think a dollar amount should really matter im sure somebody in this forum has wagered that amount if it applies to you then good im all ears if not and you still want to give advice on what you know make it the best advice bc we are here to help each other. And if its anything i can help you with just ask and if I cant i will try and point you in the right direction. And remember GET PAID!Comment -

#14on the strip harrah's and mgm mirage opoerate most of the sportsbooks except for wynn and a few others and lines will be same at almost every site. like earier poster said if you wager big be prepared to fill out paperwork; might go a little smaller and make several wagers.
good luckComment -

#26go to Southpoint Casino. You should find a large assortment of local degenerates there. The betting windows are about 2 football fields long to cover all the $5 bets.Comment -

#30Off strip properties have the best books.
-M Resort
-Red Rock (Station)
-Santa Fe (Station)
-and of course the Hilton.
Strip books are too crowded IMO with mediocre lines & parking is always a hassle on strip.Comment -

#32Some do, but they're minimal. IIRC Stations gives $1 per $500 in wagers, but they're doing a promo now where parlays and some other high juice bets have 6-10X comps. Harrah's comps starting at $200 bets. I don't know if Harrah's gives you reward credits for betting in their book, but they will give you tons of promos if you bet there somewhat heavy. Pretty much any book will comp you "drink tickets" which entitle you to a free drink per ticket.Comment -

#33truth is, even though you're gonna be in vegas, you should leave your sportsbetting to offshore. You will get much better lines. For instance, most vegas books has 20 cent lines on baseball, which is awful, and there certainly isn't any reduced juice on any of the other sports.Comment -

#35This is absolutely correct. Las Vegas has the worst odds and the least amount of betting options compared to any offshore book. The only thrill of betting at a Vegas book is that you get to cash your ticket in right away if it wins. There have been times I've had a $3,000 ticket in my wallet and it is not a good feeling having that much $$ on a piece of paper. Use the multiple internet kiosks around the strip to place your bets and use the sportsbooks strictly for watching.Comment
