From a couple of nights ago saw a guy fold Q8 face up to a HUGE river reraise on a board of JT976

The dealer even asked as him if he was folding and he said emphatically yes that the hand was no good.

    LOL

I heard one story actually that happened at Foxwoods. They have 2-5 and 1-2 NL hold'em tables in their card room and they offer a bad beat jackpot that can only be hit if quad 8's or higher beats another hand of quad 8's or better. And both players involved in that type of hand MUST USE BOTH THEIR HOLE CARDS to qualify.

Naturally this is very hard to do so these jack pots get up into the $250,000 to $500,000 range every two months or so. The loser of the bad beat ends up getting 50% of the jackpot, the winner get 25% and the rest of the 8 players at the table split the remaining 25% evenly.

So about two years ago, some old lady is sitting at the table and this guy keeps sucking her out at the river playing with rags and then keeps rubbing it in her face. He literally put her all in twice with enormous $600 jack pot hands and caught river river on her twice to suck her out.

So she keeps calm....reloads and after a few hours of taking this guy's arrogant crap she is holding pocket Jacks and the flop comes J, 10, J. The arrogant guy bets about 40% of his stack and she smooth calls him. the river comes an 6 clubs and he checks and she checks right back. The river comes out a 10 of hearts (so now the guy has quad 10's and she is holding quad Jacks) so this qualifies for the $380,000 bad beat jackpot at the time.

The guy goes...."I got you again you old c*nt...I'm all in". The lady goes "Oh really? Well I'm assuming you have quads and since I have higher quads and really don't need the money...I fold."

So she basically screwed the guy out of $180,000 (50% of the bad beat jackpot) got up from the table and left after that hand just because he was being a d!ck to her all night and NO ONE GOT PAID!

At a home game..10/25 blinds with 50 button straddle..a couple of limps then a guy goes to 300, he gets six callers and then it jumps to 2k..back to the original raiser (super tight conservative..in for 2k and sitting on 12) decides to shove..now back to the re-raiser (very aggressive Asian guy known for not having an off switch) goes into the tank for a little while..all in guy says "man just go ahead and fold I'm happy with the pot"..Asian guy doesn't say anything..all in says "go ahead and fold man and shows AA" (hard to believe but he's super tight and 14k is a great win for him) the Asian guy shows K9 off and says "gamble"..of course the flop is K9x turn blank and river blank..ship it to the gambler..

I later asked the Asian why he made that call with Aces face up..he said I was down 30, that was a quick way to get some back..(footnote: he went on to lose 60 that session)

Was at Woodbine Casino and Racetrack here in Toronto last week, playing a session of Sic Bo. It's fully automated with on-screen betting and three die in a bubble that shakes before stopping.

I'm up a couple bills and about to head out and figured I'd play one more spin. The die start to rumble but about half a second before it comes to a stop my buddy and I notice one of the die is standing on its edge (which is rounded off), and while the surface inside the dome was still moving the one dice stayed still. Once the surface came to a standstill the dice also remained in it's fixed position, on an edge, not moving. It's not up against the walls, it's not leaning up against any of the other die. It's standing on its own, on a rounded edge, there for everyone to see.

My buddy and I quickly grab our cameras and we each get a video of it before security notices. I plan on posting a YouTube video about it and promptly finding myself in a shallow grave somewhere on a Native reservation.

                    God bless.

was at a roulette table when red hit 23 times in a row. luckily i only play the inside, but a lot of people were losing their ass playing the "its due" theory. nothing is fukking "due" in a totally random game of chance.

This one goes back to the late 80's... I'm playing craps at Slots a Fun in Vegas. The table is located just inside the front entrance which has an "air door" across the whole front of the casino. This guy is shooting up a monster hand. I can see the boss behind the podium getting more and more agitated with each pass. At one point he was kicking the trash can and then the podium cursing the whole time! One of the dice goes off the table. Shooter yells "same dice". Angry boss runs over to the table, grabs the dice out of the boxman's hand and heaves them out the front door onto Las Vegas Boulevard telling the shooter "you want the same dice, go get them!". Everyone at the table is just dumbfounded, jaws hanging, no one knows what to do. After an awkward 30-40 seconds, stickman pushes the remaining three dice to the shooter where the guy continues to shoot for another 20 minutes or so. By this point the boss is so hot that I saw him actually walk out of the pit and right out the back door. I never saw him there again and he completely missed the eventual seven-out. I've seen bosses "sweat the money" MANY times but I've never seen one actually completely lose it.

This is probably a dumb question, but why do pit bosses care if people are winning money??

Don't they get paid their salary either way?

                                      Great thread.

The only thing I remember was playing blackjack and I was losing my ass. The table was full...the casino was full and people were waiting. I was the only one at the table tipping, even though a lot of players were winning. So the dealer starts helping me make decisions. It was when they peeked at the hole card when they had a 10 or Ace showing. Players cards were face up. I'd ponder 15 or 16 against a 10 and she'd say stuff like "hit that shit" or "I'd probably just stay." I ended up winning a lot and my tips got bigger and bigger. It was fun. Surprisingly no one else at the table even noticed. Best part about it was the dealer was very good looking and was flirting... She left and I flipped her half my winnings and left too. I tried to find her later hoping maybe I could score but I obviously that wasn't happening...

Commerce has loads of crazies everyday and fights can be common at times. Anyone who has ever played there daily probably has seen more craziness occur in a month than you might see in yrs combined elsewhere.
2 summers ago I decided to spend a summer in LA playing the 20-40 & 40-80 o8-stud8 games on the top level.
One day a Asian gentleman sits next to me and he is a regular. Everyone at the table is treating him like a fish.. "Hey Jung! How was your month away?! How's the wife?" etc etc. Well the guy is a nit and I'm to his left and he's very polite as I raise a large amount from the button he's just folding and folding. He wins a pot after a few hours and the guy just smiles all big and yells shots! It's like the whole table and casino had been waiting for hours! He gets 2 shots and he's suddenly a animal! Chips are flying he's straddling, beating people into the pot he's stuck 3k at 20-40 in like 30 minutes but he doesn't care he's just having a ball...life is good for all.
About a hr in he's still yelling shots when I raise a stud8 hand with Ace up he reraises and I have 3-4-A I 3 bet his 9 he caps long story short I get 2-5 completing the wheel. He goes crazy heads up now 5 betting 6th street and announces he is going all in, he has like 1k I can't lose the hand I say you put it in, I will as well..25 raises later the whole tables furious saying its a chop!! This is retarded, you guys are idiots!! I mean freaking out.. After all the raises he turns over 67910jq9 & yells straight!!! I say no I have the nuts.. He takes one look and realizes he misread his hand.
He says you have what?! I repeat the nuts, whole table is silent and in shock...times kinda in slow motion we have all been there in that uncomfortable moment. Chips are shuffled my way and I begin to stack.

Out of nowhere Jung goes running full sprint to a empty table a few feet away jumps on it and screams oh you got the nuts I show you the nuts!! Takes his pants down and starts humping the table..I show you the nuts!!
Security runs over and the whole room is laughing as they're trying to get him to put that away, come on Jung let's go. As they're escorting him out guys are yelling, "see you in a month Jung, see you soon!"
He does it every month when he loses to much I guess its his form of a stop loss..only at commerce.

Also saw a kid at WSOP flick his cards at a dealer and say man if you didn't work here I'd take you outside and make you my bitch..dealer takes off his badge and says to the kid, I just quit

James Woods plays at Foxwoods all the time. Heck I think he even won a bad beat jack pot once too there last year. Rich getting richer....unfriggin believable. Also I ran into Jose Canseco at a 2-5 NL hold'em game at Foxwoods last year. He got sucked out by some old Asian guy on the river twice.

Another story that I remembered from awhile back. True story. Again not crazy. One late evening I went into Casino and sat at a BJ table by myself. I was the only one playing at the table. Back then I was a rookie when it came to blackjack so I insisted on playing without others around. Anyways the dealer told me that this was his last night dealing at the Casino. I played for 30min or so and realized that the dealer was paying me for my losses. So the only time I would lose was when I would bust. The dealer made it look so easy and discreet by how fast he was going. I just keep my mouth shut and let him deal and play my hands. Bottom line, he cheated for me and I will never forget and later thinking how much trouble we/he could have got in.

The only thing was back then, I was young and didn't pay big hands, so maybe that's why it all went undetected.
