Playing the Underdog

I´m trying a new strategy in betting mma fights for me which is mainly finding UD plays with value and play them.

Starting with UFC on Fuel TV 2 Gustafsson vs Silva.


PLAY 1 :

50 € on Thiago Silva @2.90

I see this fight beeing very very close and hope for Silva to take Gustafsson down and punish him on the ground.
So IMO a lot of value in a Silva play.


PLAY 2:

50 € on Alessio Sakara @4.30

Again I see this fight beein a lot closer than the odds suggest. I havent been rly impressed by Stann´s Striking Technique and I think Sakara might exploit his Stand up. I feel Stann is overrated here. Moreover I believe Sakara has an existing chance of taking Stann down and when this happens he might finish him while Stanns on this back.

I generally like this strategy - low risk, high reward - but how is Thiago Silva a "UD play"?? You mean he'll win by UD or it's a counter to conventional public thinking?!

If anything, I very much like him to catch Gustafsson with Gus's questionable striking defence and Silva's legit one punch KO power. Silva looks healthy again and very yoked out FWIW.
