Alexander is overrated and has no heart. Think this is definately worth a shot.Maidana knows alexander's been getting gift decisions in st louis his whole career so he will know he needs a ko to win the fight most likely.

I think he has heart, and on fight night will go down swinging if he has to cause he will be in front of his home crowd.

Alexander had two very close disputed decisions against Kotelnik and Matthyse in saint louis. But those two guys are very crafty boxers, good technicians who outboxed Alexander.

Maidana is not crafty or technical at all, he does not outbox people. His right hand is very lethal, so imo he will have to seriously hurt alexander with it to win. I'm not so sure that he will be able to stop him or get enough knock downs to win on the scorecards. Also, this fight is 10 rounds only, so there is less chance of Alexander fading like he did against Matthyse and Kotelnik. I might just watch this one as a fan, or bet on it to go the distance.

Alexander is going to get pummeled. He doesn't have the pop in his punches to hold maidana off. Maidana by murder.

How does alexander like fighting pressure fighters? He lost to matthyse but got a gift decision... and beat an old faded juan urango.. you considering urango a good pressure fighter at that stage in his career?

But a bet on Maidana by stoppage is reasonable.

I was way off on this. Alexander was impressive for the first time since the urango fight. Maidana looked very uninspired out there and took a beating. Congrats alexander backers.
