Dana made an announcement just before the weigh-ins where he said he'd just found out and it was disgraceful, especially because Belfort who is the older man was professional and made weight...if he'd known about it for ages they'd of agreed on a catchweight before and not made Belfort cut all tht weight! And of course he wasnt going to act pissed on live TV was he, did u expect him to put Rumble in a guillotine or something!?

Vitor didnt have to take the fight is it disrespectful if Aj has an injury and cant run making it to painful to cut but is going to fight because he doesnt want to pull out miss a payday and kill the co-main event. Clear he didnt even try to cut weight if hes 197 he looks ” plump” full of water weight.

Thanks if Aj has no injury guy should be cut win or lose I understand not making weight but guy isnt dieting right or something he was on mma weekly saying this is the most hes eaten before a fight guess he was telling the truth. thats crazy.. He had water in him 11 lbs is doable it sucks but is doable in a sauna.

He cut. He's 220 on fight night on average (iirc), so 197 he's still cut a fair amount. Vitor didn't have to take the fight? He came in, on contracted weight, ready for a fight and because the other guy can't make it he has to suck it up and go home? Cmon. Injury? When I see it. I'm not attacking AJ personally, god knows I bet cutting weight sucks. But he's telling the UFC that he's the kind of commodity that they can sell to make people pay $50 to watch fight, and he's not acting like it. If I pay the UFC $50 to pay him the tens of thousands he'll make tomorrow night if not more, I expect him to make the weight he's contracted for.

I wanted to buy this UFC card because I like Aldo vs Mendes and I wanted to see if AJ could be a beast at 185, KO Vitor and make a solid contender status against AS after he fights Sonnen/Munoz. NOW it's just a Vitor Belfort vs AJ no consequences brawl. Fun sure, but none of that other drama is there.

About vitor not wanting to fight a bigger man yes he has an option of not fighting and he gets his purse, vitor did his part nobody wants to fight a guy who is almost a weight class bigger than you. If Aj water weighted down to 197 you know how much that sucks not having water for that long? Vitor will have some kind of locker room bonus for this im sure. If aj water weighted he didnt go until he couldnt sweat anymore his face looked full

There has to be more to it. You have a history of missing weight then you show up to the biggest fight of your career 11lbs over not even close moving up a weight class and Aj has had $$$ issues in the past 20% of your purse hurts. Has to be more to it
