Gray Maynard winning inside the distance at +573 is a steal IMO.
Aldo winning inside the distance at -109 is great value also.
I'm also betting on Edgar and Stephens straight up, and a Aldo/Guillard parlay.

stephens at +250 is looking good. I think it will get better though.

Maynard hasn't finished anyone worth anything. He hit Edgar with the best lucky shot he ever threw in his life and still didn't put him away. I wouldn't play this at +1000.

I haven't been impressed by Stephens in too long to bet on him... I would want, too, though. He should be able to beat a dude who cares more about plucking his eyebrows than he does working his TDD.

Do you think TDD is going to be relevant in this fight though? I doubt Stephens goes in with the gameplan of taking Pettis down, this isnt Danny Downes we are talking about

Yeah will probably end up at +275 or something if the same thing happens as the Guida fight where Pettis got loads of action week of the fight.

I'm also loading up on Stephens straight up and Stephens inside the distance.
I'm crossing my fingers for another miracle Maynard/Edgar draw at +5000 haha.
Also, Aldo/Guillard parlay, Aldo inside the distance, small bet on Florian by decision at +700, big bet on Edgar straight up, and Maynard inside the distance at +573.

Russow/Herman odds out on Sportbet.... each -120. I like Russow in this but gonna hold off, expect Herman to get more action and hopefully get Russow at plus odds

anyone like elkins?
he's bigger and although controversial, he has beaten better opponents. I'm not sold on this chinese dude.

Not controversial in my mind. Seemed pretty clear Elkins won, and Im not sold on Zhang either. A little bit of flash has been snuffed out god knows how many times by good solid fundamentals. Decided to fade this guy on entrance to wec. (Not against Reinhardt though, had to bet him there.) Think Elkins is the perfect spot to fade Zhang.

Scraped 3 out of 5, and got dominated in first round which was easily 10-8 and Edgar was given rnd 3 by two judges which is very debatable. I think Maynard will be smarter and use his wrestling more in this fight. And this is coming from a big Frankie Edgar fan

I think do Bronx is an anomaly though. Gave miller fits. Little is known about Elkins bjj defense otherwise. Zhang has the tools to pull it off maybe, but as a dog, that's less of a consideration valuewise. Just need a 50-50 chance here, and remember Elkins is a wrestler by trade, and stronger at 145. Might not give Zhang the chance.

Elkins didnt seem very bothered about wrestling with Omigawa. I doubt Zhang will take him down. Bare in mind that Zhang's sub against Reinhardt came from a Reinhardt takedown attempt and Oliveira's sub of Elkins came from a triangle after Elkins had taken him down. One area where Elkins will have an advantage is cardio. Elkins has been three rounds with Pat Curran, Gideon Ray and Omigawa and won them all (even if the most recent was controversial). Zhang meanwhile has had one fight tht went past the first round against Downes and in that fight he gassed out after getting a couple of takedowns in the first and ended up getting dominated for 2 rounds. Can be pretty confident that the longer it goes on the better for Elkins as long as he doesnt get rocked early on or something.

Edgar was the better fighter overall in the final four rounds of their rematch IMO. Granted, Maynard may have blown his load (so to speak) in that first round, I still consider Edgar the more well rounded fighter.
With that being said, Maynard still is the stronger fighter, in terms of punching power and wrestling. He does have the ability to finish the fight this time around, as long as he paces himself and fights smart.
That's my rationale for my betting: Edgar straight up with a Maynard inside the distance hedge (probably should have waited for the Maynard by TKO prop).
Here's hoping they draw so I can land my miracle play at +5000.
