I was thinking they would change the fighters contracts since it would give them full control and cut the fighters pay. This hasn't really happened yet and the 30 million they spent on the company hasn't seemed like the greatest investment. Also this next fight with Fedor and Henderson they are going to have to pay 2.4 million for just this fight.Comment -

This is two top fighters now that Zuffa has axed from both the major promotions by releasing them from just one because I doubt Overeem is going to the UFC. Just like Marquardt, the reasoning behind the firing is ridiculous and in this just absurd. Unfortunately for Overeem there is no where else to go that will be worth a damn.

maybe he wants to gut women`s mma?.....o.k....then why einemo?...his fight with herman was a fantastic fight...the guy is huge and was very close to beating herman....it was because he`s in the same camp as overeem......that`s about it...

Its some bullshit, its obviously a huge bias and dislike from dana. Its a way for him to say overeem sucks and always sucked and will never fight in the big leagues and that his zuffa/ufc fighters were always better. He can continue to mold the guys zuffa has already hyped up. And to really put the hurt down he basically banned all of golden glory and ruined any chance any of them had at a lucrative mma career. Its back to japan for golden glory. While I was happy to see reem leave in a way, its a shame that marloes and einemo got cut. Yet it will be interesting to see what details come out. Perhaps there was a big decision from Golden glory to say F-you to zuffa or to cut themselves off. Yet something tells me dana just said **** it, cut them all. Quite shocking, actually. This type of fascist stuff will continue; zuffa has officially monopolized the biz and dana has worked hard, albiet dirty, to get the company where they're at. Initially I thought zuffa taking over everything would be bad, but I'm actually thinking it could be a good thing. I just think it will suck because we'll see great fighters get cut for BS business politics, and we'll see shitty fighters get hyped up from the zuffa marketing machine. I can't believe half the fights that make the main cards these days, so many of the prelims and undercard deserve the spots, yet they put the 'big name' hype machines up on the big show, when really they don't deserve it.Comment
