this is bullshit. i had a few units on the overeem to win tourny prop at +180.

so, cormier vs antonio silva. tough one to call. huge step up in competition for cormier. however, with his style he can beat anyone as long as he doesn't get caught cleanly. i'll probably take cormier at + odds.

this grand prix definitely turned out to be no where near as good as i thought it would be when it was first announced.

I don't remember there being any good field options. I think most of the props for a tournament winner were pretty bad. Getting Oveerem in the +150 area is awful for a tournament that could take over a year to finish anyways. Also if something happens to a fighter your bet is counted as a loss. You'd be better off in most cases just betting your fighter all the way to the finals. Some people got decent odds on Silva and Barnett, but it was never worth the risk in my opinion. Obviously these people are laughing now though. If you look at Silva's path you could have potentially got him at +400 against Fedor. He was very likely to face Overeem where it should have been estimated that he'd be a big underdog again. Had he made it to the finals who knows what the odds would have been. Either way though by betting every fight in your fighters way you would come out ahead more often than not. You would also not have your money locked up for at least a year and you would be safe if something happened to your fighter like an injury.

Either way, good luck to everyone that has a big dog to win this thing.

This "tournament" was always one big joke, so no surprise in how it ended up here, however we did get to see Fedor destroyed (with Big Foot at +400 value). It has no run its course, best to just crap it altogether now.
