Honestly, nothing is worse than belligerent Fedor fans. Half of those dumb f*cks couldn't even spell his surname.Comment -

#39truth be told the silva loss is his only legit loss in MMA and even there he wasnt even knocked down. People are forgetting that 2 fights ago and maybe even before the silva fight fedor was considered not only the best HW in MMA but top P4P in MMA.Comment -

the silva fight was hard to watch. fedor got his head beat in by vicious GnP. knocked down or not, it was an obvious loss.
fedor definitely was the best hw couple of years ago.Comment -

#42c'mon now. any loss is a legit loss. the werdum fight he tapped out. if you think that way then, leben's sub against akiyama doesn't count.

#43Fedor's only weaknesses at the moment is strong grappler with 40lbs+ on him, and world champions submission player whose bread and butter is the Armbar and Triangle.
I said it once I'll say it again, The Last Emporer only has one loss!
I'm playing over 20units on him possibly more, baby needs a new pair of shoes.Comment -

#46Henderson is getting a lot of respect here. If the fight was at 205 I'd be betting on him. Fedor will have a decent size advantage here and I think that will be all he needs to keep this fight where he wants it and win it there. Henderson's last fight was against Calvacante who was bigger than him also, but he doesn't have Fedor's cardio and had to go through a weight cut. When he tired out Henderson was able to take advantage, but until that point the fight was close.Comment -

#47I like Fedor no matter where the fight goes. I think Fedor has better more dynamic standup and hits harder than Hendo. I think he has a better chin than Hendo and I think he can put Hendo on his back if he wanted.Comment -

#52I took Hendo small at +210...Fedor will probably win this, but with those opening odds on Hendo, I couldnt pass it up. Hendo is now down to +180 to +185 at most books.Comment -

#53I hate to say this, but I think the ripest line on the card might be King Mo. I just don't think Roger's likely to get him down, and who favors his chances on the feet?Comment -

#61I got a feeling we're well split on this fight and some of us will have a bad night.
My gameplan is going to be try and profit off the first 4 fights and then put a little profit on Fedor.
Of Saffedine, Woodley, Tate, and Kennedy, I think at least 3 of them win. Which one is likely to lose, you think?
I really like Tate to win. She's got the wrestling and skills to win this fairly convincingly. Coenen didn't look good at all in her first defense. I think Tate is a much better grappler than Carmouche.Comment -

#63Yeah, I like Kennedy, but maybe it's not advisable to use him. He is pretty slow and plodding. He has to get inside and clinch to get the takedown. But once he does, I think it's over for Lawler. He seemed to quit against Jacare. Kennedy is bigger and can break his will easier IMO. Jacare is obviously the better grappler, but Kennedy is pretty dangerous on top. MAYBE Lawler catches him. It might not be worth the risk.Comment -

I'd pick all those fighters to win in the end, but to answer your question I would be hesitant on Woodley and Saffedine plays if they are favorites. I am over playing kennedy, I pick him to win, but at any favorite odds I won't be playing kennedy now I think.
Its gonna be interesting to see what the lines are, but if they are dogs, evens or slightly better than evens I like plays on them. Yet as favorites I would be hesitant...
while saffedine has some great kickboxing and is great off his back, I think smith has a huge power advantage and seems to always upset when getting his ass kicked in a stand up fight. Plus, Nate Moore (a purdue wreslter I believe) went toe-to-toe with saffedine the entire 1st round and it was pretty close. He got KO'd in the 2nd (saffedines 1st and only KO in mma) but held his own, took leather and landed some.. therefore if a high level wrestler can bang on the feet with saffedine for a round, I would not be suprised if smith does so and lands that big shot. I actually think saffedine should fight a smart fight and grapple where I think he is better than smith. Saffedine has some of the BEST balance in the sport imo (I was very impressed with larson/woodley fights - if daley had the same balance that saffedine had in his fight with woodley, I'd be betting a shitload on daley over woodley...but daley doesn't lol), and has some tricky sub offense/defense. I think it comes down to what kind of gameplan he has and if smith comes in hungry or not.
I'm not sold on woodley (Coy was robbed imo and I scored saffedine fight a draw)...I think woodley wins this fight 9/10 times IF he sticks to a wrasslin' minded gameplan. If he plays around like he did with saffedine in the 1st he is gonna get KTFO. Daley will capatalize on any opportunity that plays out on the feet, and I've seen some people saying woodley could hang on the feet with daley - you're wrong, very wrong imo. They aren't even close, daley has some of the best hands and natural power in the sport imo. Like I said, if I knew daley could keep it upright a good portion of the fight like saffedine did (who isn't a base wrestler), then I would be putting money on daley. But considering he was taken down at will in many fights, especially as of late with kos and masvidal, I think woodley can certainly get him down frequently too. I'm just afraid woodley gets wreckless. he is still green and still unproven imo, and as a favorite it would be hard for me to trust him with my money.. If I knew him better and knew he had consistent fight IQ I would like him more. As a dog or even he is money though - I think he will play it safe, take paul down and lay on him for 3 rounds, perhaps even ground and pound him out or slap on an anaconda
Overall I think Tate is the best play, but I wouldn't go crazy on her either. Nothing on this card makes me wanna go big. Considering big on tate, but need to do some more research and by the time the lines come out on my book she'll probably be at -125/140..
I was gonna play kennedy, but after my initial breakdown I realized it is a hard fight to call.Comment
