I shit you're right, I thought it would be 134 because it's in Rio and Belfort would like that.
Tiny bit of value? I almost shat my pants with laughter on that one.

Hahaha, I haven't had any dreams about this one, or any others for any future events.

If Akiyama actually uses his judo he has a great chance to win this. But ever since coming to the UFC he just likes to go out there and brawl. He's shown a great chin, but someone's going to put his lights out sooner or later and Vitor just may be that guy. And he really is better suited for 170.

Yeah he really should be 170.
If Leben, Belcher, and Bisping couldn't put his lights out, Vitor definitely can't.
Sexyama is just better.

I have already played this for 5u. I really like Akiyama in this spot. Belfort is coming to the end of his career and his lights will be put out just like Wanderlei tonight. The A. Silva front kick KO shows me just how much chin Vitor has left.

Are people actually backing akiyama? This seems like a gimme fight. Not long ago, many people favored him to win over anderson silva? akiyama has also a tendency to get hit a lot, and he has bad stamina and he is not that quick either.

He gets hit a lot but he can take it. His stamina doesn't get bad until the 3rd round.
He's coming off of losses, and he's hungry to win.
ok, i dont understand but i will contemplate before i rain down my critique. so whos most likely to win a decision?

Sexyama decision, and if you want to piss money away you could hedge it with Vitor to win inside the distance if you're a puss and don't see this fight clearly.

What have you seen from Akiyama that makes you so confident? When I first saw the matchup I pegged it as a gimme for Belfort, but now I'm not so sure.
Akiyama has been outclassed every UFC fight. He won a closely contested fight versus Belcher. Then followed with losses to Leben and Bisping. Vitor is a better fighter than both of them and the highest level competition Akiyama will have faced yet.
Akiyama turns into a sloppy brawler when he gasses by the 2nd and a technically sound veteran like Vitor should be able to put him away before a decision. I'm not even big on Vitor, but he looked decent vs Anderson until he got KO'd while Akiyama looks consistently unimpressive.

Err... I don't think we have the same understanding of what it means to be outclassed if you think Leben and Belcher outclassed him.

You're right that's the wrong word to use. What I mean is he hasn't looked like the better fighter in any of his UFC fights, whether or not he won.

He did WAY better against Leben than he did against Bisping.

Not saying Belfort has the tank to go the distance but Yoshi's tank is SUSPECT and if he's going to use those throws I can imagine that'll sap him of energy quickly.
I like Belfort in this one.

I can't get behind Sexyama here. Belfort can get real overrated by fans, but the guy has really good boxing and a strong enough base to not be grapplefucked. I actually think the value is on him. After the way Sexyama got dominated by the Mediocre Count, one would think Belfort would be -500 here, not -260. There's value on Belfort by TKO/KO here as well. Akiyama has a good chin, but he's been rocked. Belfort can easily overwhelm him.

Akiyama put the fight on the ground a lot. He's not going to get Belfort down like that. Belfort by TKO through an accumulation of blows is quite reasonable. For heaven's sake, the Mediocre Piece Of Shit Pussy That Usually Runs From His Opponents Bisping was picking Akiyama apart badly.

I have watched some fights of akiyama now. belcher, lieben and bisping fights. I am under the impression that you think akiyama would win? I think akiyama have skills on the ground, and a very heavy right hand, but he def have to connect to win. He have good takedowns from clinch, but he cant clinch with belfort, that is his biggest problem, because i do believe he is the better ground fighter. He has a very heavy right hand as i stated above, but he is a bit predictable, both belcher and bisping managed to pluck points and hit him from the outside, a similar strategy belfort used to pick terry martin apart befor KOing him in the second round. Akiyama has a tendency to significantly fade after the first round. This is something he does EVERY fight. You said that akiyama is the one with the advantage if the fight goes 3 rounds. From what i have seen, this is wrong i think your whole akiyama bullshit is wrong. He may have a chance by KO in the first round tho, or submission after a punch, but thats not likely. I still think this is a gimme fight.
