i'm super confused. after cain beat lesnar, cain was -220 against jds.

what exactly new happened in this fight? carwin's takedowns aren't nearly on cain's levels, and we already knew that jds is the superior striker.

Yeah, too bad the fight is so far away. MMA/Boxing always cancels when I bet it early. And -105 for Velasquez almost feels like a taunt.

They might as well might Cain even money (I'm only wishing now).

Dos Santos looked very tired in the 3rd round tonight to be honest. Not as tired as Carwin but still. If he thinks Cain isn't going to put more pressure on him than Carwin did tonight he has lost his damn mind.

JDS looked like he punched himself out a little bit tonight. Next fight will be five rounds and cain has the best conditioning in the heavyweight div. -105 is a great number if there isn't something wrong with cain that we don't know about, but JDS is an excellent boxer so this fight could be close. I know one thing is for sure, and that is one judge will have it scored 30-27 in favor of the guy who lost.

There is no gift against JDS.

I'll be waiting for everyone to pound Cain and I'll takes JDS at + odds in this one.

both are 7-0 in the ufc, a combined 11 stoppages, and neither has yet to lose a round in the ufc. God damn that is a big fight on paper.

Yeah I noticed that too... like he had 3-4 inches on him and looked much bigger overall. Cain just had the bigger head.

Giggity. Cain will dominate. Bookmaker wants to capitalize on the jds hype right now so people will bet him as favorite instead of getting him at the correct underdog price. Smart move by Khalikas.

If Junior Dos Santos was gassed in the 3rd round against Roy Nelson how the hell do you think he will look in the 4th and 5th round against Cain? Is it possible Dos Santos knocks Cain out before then? Absolutely. Cain did get rocked against Kongo.. But Cain's head movement is so much better now than it was in that fight. I'm telling you guys the pressure that Cain is going to put on Dos Santos is going to be unreal. He looked to be tired in the 3rd round against Carwin as well. Cain isn't going to just sit in the pocket with Dos Santos. He is going to be moving forward every second of every round and I don't think Dos Santos has the cardio to handle it. I will be happy with whoever wins this fight because I am a big fan of both guys. But looking at this fight I see it being all Cain.

I'd hate to lock in my money so early on bets like these. Especially since they might end up getting cancelled or delayed due to injury

I think we're going to see a lot of fluctuation in this line over the coming months, particularly during the build-up to the fight. Once the UFC starts churning out the training footage of Velasquez going ten rounds throwing jump kicks, it's very unlikely that he'll remain the underdog.

I see it being more like 60/40. Maybe 50/50 for the first 3 rounds. After the first 3 rounds I believe it goes more like 80/20. Dos Santos has to come out swinging and swinging hard. He needs to put Cain away before the championship rounds. I like Dos Santos chances.

as far as having your money tied up, the fight has to take place before 2011, but it looks like its linned up to happen at UFC 136, Oct 08.

                                                  134 MW title Silva/Okami

i assume they want to get Velasquez in as soon as possible since he last foyught in october of 2010, so your money would be tied up for 4 months, $250 max right now
