    Late money on Jake Shields
His last few fights I have noticed that a lot of late money comes down on Jake shields. Some out there obviously have a lot of confidence in him and it has really paid off for them so far, especially considering he was a heavy underdog vs Dan Henderson.

It would be interesting to see if late money comes in on him tomorrow. There may be a an opportunity for GSP backers to wager on him at a lot lower juice.

Jake was at a much better number a month ago... I am heavy on him and I think he pulls it off!

I'm surprised the line shifted so early. It could be because many have bought into the UFC prime time hype. It could also mean the people who backed Shields heavily the other fights have may have placed their wages already, but I'm still going to keep a lookout.

I wouldn't be shocked if Shield's pulls out a submission but I still think GSP winning via decision or late TKO is the more likely outcome.

Late money is pushing GSP. Makes sense -- casual fans, people in Vegas... None of them know who the f*ck Jake Shields is.

12 hours ago, GSP was -380. He's at -430 now.

What's funny is that it still makes more sense to bet on GSP at those ghastly odds than it does to bet on Shields. I have no idea why anyone would even think of playing Shields outright when the Shields to win SotN prop bet was at +700 the last time I looked. Does anyone honestly believe that Shields is going to knockout GSP, or win a decision? Come on.

Decision might not be as far fetched as you think. I agree there is 0% chance that Shields wins by TKO, but he did take a dec from Henderson. I mean he could be able to get GSP down and hump his leg for awhile. There's a chance, very very slim, but just saying.

I think it's ridiculously unlikely given Shield's wrestling and set-ups in conjunction with GSP's striking prowess and takedown defense. Also, even though Shields will likely be in better condition than he was in his last fight, I expect him to gas pretty quickly. He's going to get punched in the face early on - a lot - and that is very, very tiring. If he makes it to a decision, I think it's extremely lopsided in GSP's favour a huge percentage of the time.

Jake Shields looked like he is ready to roll on the ground for five minutes and don't expect him to gas.

No, I do expect him to gas. Not because he's poorly condition, not because he's had a tough weight cut, but because getting beaten up is extremely taxing. St-Pierre's jab and right cross is going to turn his face into mush.

Even if he gets the take downs, they won't come easy. It might not be until late in the 3rd or start of the 4th round but he will definitely gas.

Shields is a great fighter, but will lose out vs GSP over 5 rounds.

Maybe if Jon Schorle and Cecil Peoples are judging.

GSP might dominate the fight, but will not finish Shields. He just does not take too many risks, some of which is required to finish fights.

I can't see GSP losing. He might be pound for pound the greatest fighter in the world and he's once again fighting in front of his own people. He has won his last 3 fights by decision and he's not gonna win a decision in Canada in just his 2nd UFC fight.
