    I know some basic martial arts techniques, but it’s very basic. I want to improve my physical strength and learn and new skill. Do you think it’s a good idea to learn kickboxing and what are the advantages?

    Be a real man, go into judo. you pussy!

    I'm kidding. This is an impossible question to answer without knowing a little bit more about your situation. Is money a concern? Can you tolerate pain, like say people hitting you, how hard do you want to work, etc etc etc

      If you want to get stronger and learn a skill, 9 out of 10 times I would suggest going into jiu jitsu, but it usually isn't cheap. If cheap is the route you want to take I would suggest boxing, you can usually find some really solid classes to attend, and for very cheap.

      Good luck with whatever you choose

            Kickboxing is pretty cool, I suggest you watch these movies for inspiration if you havent already seen them;

            KickBoxer, starring Jean-Claude Van Damme

            Bloodsport, starring Jean-Claude Van Damme

            Undisputed II, starring Michael Jai White and Scott Adkins

            Undisputed III, starring Scott Adkins

            After watching these I can almost guarantee that you want to start Kickboxing. If you think JCVD is gay then just watch Undisputed II and III, entertaining movies if you´re into Martial Arts. (Links to Imdb)

                    What kind of kickboxing? There's a huge difference between Muy Thai Kickboxing at Fairtex compared to the American Kickboxing of Rick Rufus.
