Not really. I think he works for the takedown until he gets it, a la the Geronimo dos Santos fight. No sense in standing around and trading with big punchers when you can dismantle them on the floor.

Also, if Barnett gets a body lock, Rogers is almost definitely going down. The Grim doesn't have good balance at the best of times.

Yeah Rogers is likely to get dropped if he loses a couple more. He could always go to Sharkfights and take the belt.

I think it might be. This is a showcase fight for Cormier and Strikeforce(UFC) is hoping Monson is broke down enough for Cormier to get a finish. I guess Ken Shamrock was busy this weekend.

I think there is a very real possibility that V. Overeem may tap to strikes or a basic submission once he's hurt. Making Griggs by submission +1275 worthy of a small play or maybe bundle it into a parlay or two with some favorites.

Does that interest anyone?

I think it's a decent stand alone play for the reason you mentioned. I dropped a small amount on it.

Ive been contemplating this as well. Devin Cole, the only guy DC didnt finish is real tough, took some big shots from DC. Idk if Monson can take that punishment at 40.

Cormier by tko is +583. I highly doubt he subs Monson.
