sexyama needs to face reality and realize he's too small for middleweight. i think he could dehydrate before a fight and make welterweight easily but he refuses to so i'm hoping Marquardt stomps him to reality and on to the welterweight class.

he fights mostly agressive standup, which is weird for such a small guy, but the ufc likes that sort of fighting. he's a name fighter although if sexyama doesn't win this fight, he's either going to have to fight welterweight or the ufc will cut him.

This isnt even a fair fight for sexyama. Nate is the biggest competition sexyama has had in the ufc and hes going after 2 loses. Nate should be the best bet.

what? this is the fight ive been most excited for since maybe i dont know how long.

stylistically interesting, serious ladder implications, answers many questions about an "overhyped" guy, the best division, and we've seen both fighters for a lonnnggg time in the ufc unlike where usually one guy gets a title shot out of no where. like shields or belfort.

In his place steps New Jersey native Dan Miller, who had been expected to fight on the evening's preliminary card but will now fight Nate Marquardt.

No way akiyama wins this. Japanese fighters usually only win by submission or decision and I would say his only chance here is a submission.
