*she should dominate the stand-up. she is much bigger and stronger than Nunes who is also a very good striker. this fight to me comes to reach and size. i think nunes can get pressured into a clinch where budd showed a great base in her fight against olson who has a solid boxing background aswell as wrestling-grappling. in that clinch i suspect nunes will realize she cannot take this down at any point elminating her judo. in the stand up budd is just faster and stronger, throw in the reach advantage nunes will be frustrated and peppered. Nunes has some good throws and ground but i'm not sure she will get it there. this play is risky at -200 but i have seen a few of budd's non-mma fights and she is a beast. her left hook is wicked, leg kicks are awesome and she has a great base with decent footwork. i think she takes this in a very close fight.

sure, what i liked most was the weight(welter) and the odds. those were what first stood out.
2ndly, i love how penn moves forward with straight boxing pressure. he can overwhelm and fitch's movement sucks so he will shoot and penns TD defence in those situations a awesome. penn can deal with cardio now and can handle himself on his back, i willn't say he is dangerous off it but he has the skill set but most importantly he can defend down there.

fitch has nothing to show that is not new, i like that. penn has to jab and press, stuff takdowns and avoid clinch and fence control, fitch very good at that but i feel penn matches up decent against that and knows its coming, its penn's opportunity to stick to a plan, i will admit i have never liked penn all that much and feel his stand up is overrated because its 1 dimensonal, its basically a pocket puncher, great against smaller guys who stay in the pocket, fitch stays there and is no threat there so penn can strike with confidence knowing he willnot most likely get KOed and fall back on his great core balance for TD defence . i think penn can win this its 50-50 to me throw in the + odds and there is my thoughts and bet.

*for all the exact same reasons i liked him to win the 1st time. taking nothing away from that maynard hook, it was a great strike but in my opinion that was a strike that edgar made a mistake on. i watched the fight over again and again and at no point after that round did maynards strikes including his beloved left hook hurt edgar. edgar i still feels brings a little more to the table in a 5round fight. and edgar's style are designed to win decisions. maynard will have a tougher time re invented himself to adjust to edgar and if he doesn't and still believes his current game is better than i will take edgar every day of the week. bol guys.
