yea this card is filled with he lesser known fighters. The fight night card Marquardt just headlinned vs Palhares is probably better than this card. there was no chance they'd put this on PPV

#38I'm on 3 of the 4. Glad to see you leaning the same way. The only one I'm not on is Sakara, although I think he takes this one. I just hoping for a better line on him, so I will prolly sit this one out and enjoy the battle.

#39If Ludwig wasn't coming off of an injury I would have bet him already. He obviously is a natural 155lb so its tough to back him at 170lb, but he has the advantage standing and has pretty good takedowns when he wants to use them. Nick's height might cause some problems though.Comment -

#58I declare **** this card. I can't find a satisfactory angle for damn. I won't even try to predict it (other then to say that JM sounds almost completely wrong.) My only effective premise is that betting on this card is folly, and the sole opportunity for my betting prowess to obtain any currency from this card is your failure.
BOL!

#61Was just home and gave final thoughts. And you forgot Osipczak. And I scored Soz and Okami the other way. And I'm pretty sure if Sakara actually fought it would have gone the way of your prop. But hey, nothing to suggest it was anything like the coin flip I expected.
JM didn't give any numbers but hopefully somebody made some hay out of this joust. Aaand just as I type that, I look over at Ecco's shots. Ow. He's one of my heavy hitters, and this abstinence is starting to feel better and better.Comment -

#63Oh, pedantic little stuff like striking accuracy and time spent on ass. I could see it going the other way but that only emphasizes the sense of the tenuous nature of these match-ups.
Judging from your thread, you caught that scent hard and fast. I dub thee a knight of No-*******-Way.Last edited by jacktheknife; 11-13-10, 11:32 PM.Comment -

#64Granted they were close fights but that doesn't mean they were difficult to score. Okami was far more accurate with his strikes, almost all jabs but he landed more. Very hard for me to see how Marquardt won either round 1 or round 3 of that fight, though round 2 I would barely give to him. Soz/Reljic was close, round 2 could have gone either way, but again I thought Soz clearly won round 3 and was the aggressor in round 1, both with strikes and his kimura attempt at the end.Comment -

#67What I want to know is how one of the judges scored the third round for the Brit Nick O vs Ludwig. There is noooooo way Ludwig did not win the last round. Possibly even could have been a 10-8.Comment -

#70From MMAJunkie - the judges score card in the Ludwig fight was misread:
Although judge Chris Watts' score was initially announced as 30-28 for Osipczak, the official record was later amended to reflect a more understandable score of 29-28 for Osipczak
Still had it for Osipzak but at least the judge wasnt that blatently wrong lol. I think the judging was pretty good last night. All of the right fighters won IMO. I score Okami/Marquardt 30-28 for Okami with the second round a draw but I guess you could have given that round to Marquardt to have a score of 29-28. The only thing I would say was questionable was how Sozsynski won 30-27. I thought Reljic clearly won the second round.Comment
