Just because he got some training from Bas Rutten does not make him an expert. MMA has changed over the years. Unless Kimbo gets himself a good up to date trainer on groundwork he will never be able to put up a serious fight.

He hasn't trained with Bas for years. And he has been with ATT, one of the best camps in the world to train for the past while. He took it seriously but he's pretty old and already has bad arthritis. Too late for him to make a go at MMA.

Fight went exactly as I called it....Mitrione peppered him with leg kicks thn finished him....Kimbo is like a sitting duck for anyone with half decent leg kicks...dude cant move his feet! Would hate to imagine wot would have happened if itd of been Pat Barry kicking him for fun!

I don't think anyone feels Kimbo stance much of a chance with any UFC fighters. But he does draw interest, and may have been put on a Spke or Versus card before being cut.

Shows how inspiring the guy is to me. I am waiting for Dana to try to get Tyson in a next episode of the ultimate fighter, would make just as much sense as putting Kimbo in there.
