Late to the party my bad, Was watching the Dodgers lose.. Caught up on DVR.. Smith a badass.. Was a fun card a few dog upsets as well which I cashed in on.. Came out on top.. Lost with Volkan in the end but was up.. Can't complain..

Both were gassed. Volkan with the nose break was the difference I think.. Hard to fight and especially grapple with a broken nose that's bleeding out.. He even said that post fight interview..

Looked pretty much like predicted in my breakdown. A bit more standup than expected but Bernardo has improved in her striking significantly.

After hearing about that gross little factoid about Moras not showing for her fights, I'm glad that she's going to likely be cut after this loss.

No it looked like that cuz Volkan was landing more early in fight mostly to leg kicks, agression, pressure and most important toughness. Guy can take a shot.

Decent night of bets, even on the posted plays made a little over 2 units. Some nice live betting opportunities on Smith, though I wish we got a better price after Round 2. Moved up a spot in Toutmaster as well which is nice. Hoping that this kicks off a strong close to the year.

You rock him three times at least on the feet and f*ck it up by tring some clench/cage bullsh*t...

In training they do a lot of drills where training partners give up easy takedowns.

After your partner gives up easy takedowns, hundreds or thousands of times in training, it can give them the false impression they will get easy takedowns in a real fight.

They shoot, expecting to get the easy takedown the way they did in training. Then they don't get it.



You see it happen in a lot of UFC fights.

The answer could be to not give them as many easy takedowns in training so they remember they have to work for it. Then they might not be so eager to shoot.
