Commentators blew anything Caraway did at the end of round 3 out of proportion imo.

Stamann 29-28.

Caraway is such a dog. He was outgunned for the final half of that fight but kept it incredibly close and then made it DIRTY at the end. Did everything he could to win. Even though he didn't earn it, he did everything with what he had and gave himself a hell of a chance. Good job by him.

As for Stamann... very good TDD, cardio, quick strikes. Needs a bit more savvy and this fight could help him in the long run.

Just woke up and caught the last fight. Thought the judges got it right by giving it to Stamann. A last minute flurry of energy where Caraway didn't land much, and then the guillotine attempt that would've ended up with Stamann in top position didn't hide the fact that Caraway had failed 20 TD attempts in a row and was getting outstruck for the last 9 minutes.

Octagon aggression and Caraway turning it on late I thought got that 3rd round.. If it would have lasted a 30 seconds longer he would have got the sub win too..

what octagon aggression? he completed 1 out of 23 TDs. from striking perspective, he got countered with almost every exchange.

100% correct. You can also just check to see if parlaying the side with the over gives you better EV than going automatically for the prop.

He was in his grill the entire fight, pressing forward, had his back against the cage half the fight.... Calaway was landing the more damaging punches in that 3rd round as well.. Compare the fighters face damage after.. Less damage wear shown on Calaways face as well...

It wasn't a complete robbery but I thought it was the wrong call..
