    Miocic vs. Ngannou predictions
    Miocic is +165 on 5dimes

As much as i'm a fan of Miocic, he has gotten caught in previous fights but had a good chin that allowed him to continue. He can't afford to get caught against Ngannou no matter how good his chin is. I think Miocic tries to wrestle, gets stifled by Ngannou's sheer power, and gets caught with a KO punch while trying to control him.

$5k on ngannou. Everybody talks about stipe’s wrestling as a key, ngannou is no slouch on the ground. He has mad subs and was tested by blaydes. Maybe not the caliber as stipe but it wont matter. Ngannou looked alot bigger than stipe and will be able to stuff the takedown. Its Ngannous era

I think Ngganou and Derrick Lewis should tag team and be called the Mandingo boyz.

Value on Miocic. Of course Ngannou can win with one punch but value definitely on Stipe. If you bet Overeem/Ngannou you can definitely bet this fight also.

                      I saw that..

UFC 220 - Light Heavyweight 5 rounds - TD Garden - Boston, Massachusetts - PPV
                      Sat 1/20 1101 Volkan Oezdemir +240 o1½ -175
                      11:59PM 1102 Daniel Cormier -280 u1½ +155

The guy is very underrated and brings it... You don't expect him to win his fights ever but he just does time and time again and usually by KO...http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Volkan-Oezdemir-58503

You gotta think DC will use his wrestling in this fight like he did against Anderson Silva.. I still see DC winning by decision (lay and pray) but I'll probably hedge with the Volkan KO prop.. DC is getting up in age and Jon Jones just lit him up and knocked him out..

This is a five round fight. These are heavyweights, one punch could end it all, but my money's on Miocic. Not only is he good value at these odds, he has a very respectable chin and gas tank, both better than Ngannou's. If Miocic makes it out of the second round, I don't see him losing. People betting on Ngannou are basically parlaying Ngannou by TKO & fight duration under 1.5 rounds, to make profit half the size of their wager.

Why are you guys so heavy on the under in this fight? Here's a breakdown of the terrible chinned opposition they've faced lately.

                              Ngannou's last 4 fights

Bojan: A true LHW who was finished by Joachim Christensen and Abdul-Kerim Edilov AT 205 after he fought Ngannou
Anthony Hamilton: The worst 265'er to ever fight 3+ fights in the UFC and the worst chin in the world
Arlovski: When you think of awful HW chins, this guy pops up very quickly
Overeem: Another guy that you think of probably first as having a poor chin at HW

He also fought Curtis Blaydes who made it 2 full rounds before doctors stopping the fight due to eye swelling. Luis Henrique also made it Over 1.5 rounds with Ngannou. You may say these fights were a while ago but the truth is they were against fighters with actual chins and he didn't finish them right away. On to Stipe.

                              Miocic's last 4 fights:

                              Arlovski: Same situation as above
Werdum: Werdum's chin is actually pretty good but his idea of running around the cage with his hands down and chin up was one of the dumbest things I've ever saw and he paid for it. Plus he's up there in age which doesn't help.
                              Overeem: Same situation as above
JDS: I would describe his chin as decent at best but it has been cracked badly since his champion days

Before those 5 fights, Stipe went 5 rounds with Mark Hunt (finished him late) and JDS.

That is my breakdown and this is another thing I want to add. These 2 guys are as young of a talented HW fight as you'll ever see. That means their chins haven't been cracked yet. Miocic has only been knocked out once in his career and he fought a murderers row of talented powerful strikers. To be honest, my main worry in this fight is that Ngannou's chin isn't what you would think it should be and I think Stipe is the cleaner striker as well. Still, I'll take -116 on this fight making it to a 2nd round. I'm also considering props that payoff huge if this fight goes a long time (4th round or so) because I think we could see both guys land and not finish each other which could cause some hesitancy/cardio issues going forward (less for Stipe).

Ngannous opponents already lost before the fight. Overeem was truly scared in the staredowns as you could see him throwing that weird left hand which was countered. These people are scared of Ngannou.

Stipe didnt give a shit about fear against any of his opponents but I could see him being a bit rattled in the press conference when Francis said something. If hes going to panic in the fight then its going to be a mess of a fight. Francis hasnt been tested at all in the UFC and I believe Stipe could actually test him.

Either way you cant bet this fight confidently. Its too crazy.

Ngannou is like the Hulk. He smashes everything. Miocic the smaller quicker guy is gonna have to do some professor X type shit to outhink him and mix it up. Ngannou byHulk smash. Would like Miocic to win. But I do like Ngannou

This hype around Ngannou is amazing. Couple that with him training back in France for this camp and I can't wait until this line on Miocic rises. Not a crazy big bet but still a solid bet if it hits closer to +200

I wonder if ngannou kos stipe in round 1 or 2. I just hope stipe fights again after he gets knocked out.

His head is even smaller than Overeems. I'm worried for his health too. Hail Mary.

Obviously. But we should try to find and look at it from different angles when capping.
