I can understand not jumping into the guard in Rd1 but he hurt Perez pretty bad with the 3rd knockdown in the 2nd. If he had just jumped on top, he could've secured the round decisively and been up comfortably 2-0. This would've led to some desperation on Perez's part and Souk could've just sat back and countered at range.

Nothing more frustrating betting on a fighter with so many tools and such a bad understanding of how to use them. Souk SNA was sharp and should've just stuck to that. Souk ML not so much.
