If Nate comes in properly motivated then he's not going to be easily beaten. Also have a feeling he won't stay as underdog forever so might be wise to get a unit or two on him before his odds shorten too much?

i was strongly on Diaz because Pettis tends to fold/wilt against pressure fighters that can take a shot... aka Diaz
but Diaz has terrible leg kick defense and in a 3 round fight he may just run/ chip away at the legs and get a decision here so im kind of questioning my initial lean

neither was mcgregor but duke roufus is a smart guy and last fight against Wonderboy he implemented them... id be shocked if he doesnt again... Still on Diaz but im not sure ill be going as big as i was thinking

That's pretty much where I'm at too, been back & forth a few times on this one trying to make up my mind.

At the moment I can't get past the idea that Nate wouldn't be coming back at all unless he means business and is 100% motivated to remind everyone what he's capable of. Probably looking to secure that trilogy fight with Conor before too much longer.

But I've always found Pettis difficult to get a proper read on, he often seems to lose when I'm expecting him to win and vice versa.

Thinking I'll probably place a small bet on Diaz but hedge with Pettis by decision.

going Diaz straight up and Pettis decision hedge just in case because if he does win itll be by leg kicks / keeping distance and running a bit/ making it ugly

i thought Pettis was 1 round away from getting finished by Wonderboy last fight before landing that hail mary superman shot but when Pettis is on he looks great, thing is you cannot let him get going .. i dont think Diaz will let him flow and get going so it should be interesting
