Conor spent too much energy throwing a bunch of flashy kicks hoping for some kind of highlight reel KO.

Onto the next event fellas!! Tis a beautiful ting..

I'm out congrats to all the winners tonight!!!
I'm actually in shock here. For some reason MgGregor losing has put me on a downer and I don't even no why, no money invested. Bad night for Dana White, if Connor drops back down to 145 for a couple of fights and defends his title in sure people will overlook this loss. He needs to stop with this movement stuff now and concentrate on his wrestling and ground game.

I won so big onTate that I laid off the main main event. I have been betting Nate since he started but tonight I wasn't sure. In the end, a fighter can't go up that many weight classes to fight a badass who weighs ~190 naturally. I'm heighnsight (sp) Nate musta been licking his chops at this opportunity.

Connor gassed out and gave up, he wanted out. Nate was right, he went out like a little bitch, no heart, a front runner.

McGregor was actually the one that was nervous. He was trying to act confident when he was ready to shit a brick pre-fight. Glad to see him take the L in the UFC. He needs to man up and fight Edgar at 200 and relinquish that belt. Joe Duffy, and Max Holloway deserves rematches before Conor is cut and goes to Bellator.

Two overrated main events got their asses kicked. Ya'll need to learn to pick upsets and fast!! Mcgregor got tired, after dominating, rolled on his back and got choked out. Holly got wrapped up and expended her energy and got choked out. both heavy favorites amazing

it was on 10 days notice, but he was training for a triathlon so its not like the fatigue would have been an issue.. if you are in shape and you get asked to fight, you shouldnt need a ton of time to train for someone. Especially someone who wants to just stand and throw like mcgregor.. Thats the fight Diaz wanted and he was in great shape so it fell right into his hands

Lol he will never be cut haha he's still the biggest draw in the ufc, going up 2 divisions and facing one of the best boxers in the ufc and losing doesn't change this. I knew this would be a much tougher fight then rda.

This fight kinda questions myself betting on heavily juiced fighters (glad I didn't put money on any fight though). Makes me nervous if I were to do it in another fight. I got wrecked with the rousey fight when holm upsetted her

Conor/Edgar at 200 makes the most sense.

He just got beat by a LW who had 10 days notice. No point in him fighting RDA in my opinion.

I won on Tate but I'm still bummed out over McGregor. Its not like I thought he was invincible or anything but it would've been pretty cool to jump up 2 divisions and whip their ass just for fun. GSPs lame ass was there tonite. Why does that guy have any fans? He absolutely has to have all the cards in his favor and doesn't even try to stop anyone....just lays and prays til the clock runs out against guys smaller than him. Atleast McGregor had the balls to give it a shot but now the aura is over and I doubt he can even stop the tough 155ers and getting back to 145 might be a bitch for him to continue?

I don't know? Europeans suck on the ground....thats all there is to it. They can start playing basketball early on and compete with Americans but nobody grows up wrestling over there? Overall though losing to a 6' guy at 170 isn't the end of the world. Conor might have to try some humility and see how it feels?

he's a match-up nightmare for the champ rda, but fergusion and kabib would beat him. he's either 2nd or 3rd best at lightweight, based on the matchups, he needs to fight rda before he loses the title, if he wants two belts at once.

They can start playing basketball early on and compete with Americans but nobody grows up wrestling over there? Overall though losing to a 6' guy at 170 isn't the end of the world. Conor might have to try some humility and see how it feels?

Especially someone who wants to just stand and throw like mcgregor.. Thats the fight Diaz wanted and he was in great shape so it fell right into his hands
Yeah, But having a full camp for fighting and training for a triathlon are 2 different things.

Conor needs to stay at 145 and rule that division. He didn't want to catchweight and risk losing his belt to Nate at 150 or 155. Frankie will take him out easily. Conor is another Anthony Pettis. The UFC quickly branded Pettis on the Wheaties box when he became champion. UFC will have some leverage negotiating with Conor now.

Conor once again submitted and showed no heart. He was prepared to tap out instead of fighting it out. His days getting KO'd is numbered. RDA or Edgar.

His normal weight is right at 170, why was he gassed because of that? When he cuts to 145, he is back to around 170 the day of the fight.

If anything, he shouldn't have fatigued at all. At least until not later in the fight.
