Took a bunch of prop bets on Dodson and Manuwa and didn't hit any. If 1 would have hit I would have broke even on those props.

I didn't think in a million years Ross Pearson would beat out Felder. I counted 3 judging borderline robberies last night and that was one of them.
Felder was the aggressor, came forward the entire fight.. I just don't understand that decision.. 30-27 one judge had that.. Just a joke was the judging last night...Comment -

He was clearly looking for a way out. If that love kick to the neck didn't happen I think Riggs would have quit shortly after on his own.... I simply don't think he is mentally strong in the cage if things aren't going his way..

Are steroids starting to ruin this sport like it nearly has baseball? I mean MIr was the poster boy for comin off ur cycle. I never saw him ever look like that and Arloski looked like he lost a lot of mass. Prolly why their fight stunk up the joint. Mir is an admitted TRT user. Wow i wonder what he had in his system in that second fight with Lesnor. He almost looked better than Lesnor. Looks like a lot of high caliber fights are gonna suck now. Curious to see what Aldo will have against Mcgregor. I wouldn't bet Aldo with Jibby's money knowing he is now off the juice unless he is so pissed off he stays on it just to smash Conner.Comment -
Arlovski said he thought Mir would be an easy fight and didn't train seriously enough to put on the performance he wanted.
A lot of MMA guys used to lift weights as their go to method of training. Weight lifting is basically brute force training. Prime examples of it are guys like Tank Abbott who could bench press 600 lbs. These days, MMA fighters shoot for more of a balance between strength and cardio training. Looking at pics of GSP, he used to be a lot more shredded and ripped earlier in his career, when he lifted weights. Then at some point GSP started to say that weight lifting doesn't produce any real benefits to MMA & he started to train differently. The same holds true for a lot of people.Comment -
We are starting to see what the guys really look like off PED's now.. I like it, it's a transition for the fans but it will make the sport fair.. I don't think it will ruin it.. Many of these older big name fighters though are gonna drop off the UFC map in a hurry..
Like Thor I won't bet on a bunch of these older former big name UFC juicers, like the Vitors, Overreems, etc.. Then again I said this about Bigfoot Silva and he just had the fight of his life against Soa Palelei.. So you never really know?
Aldo is still young (28) and naturally athletic so the absence of PED's probably won't be a major problem for him.Comment -

I'd never fuk with the I-roll-guy.. Sweaty men wrapping their legs around me, "Get into my guard bro, I'll fuk you up".. Fool me once etc. Only boxing for me, and no steroids.. Seem pretty pointless, unless you're making a living off your body somehow. Still got Jooocy quads though.
Also, he disappeared quietly after being huge on Cain and preaching to everybody how Werdum couldn't win this fight in a million years.
I did agree with a lot of what he was saying on Aldo though. He had his moments, just never quite grasped the concept that everything can literally happen in this sport. Stilll think most of the top guys are juicing though, and it's RAMPANT in the amateurs.Comment
