Another big event with some big time favorites for me. The favorites are spot on for ufc 97.

    Silva over Leites
    Chuck over Rua
    Soszynski over Stann
    Kongo over Hardonk
    Cane over Cantwell
    Marshall over Magalhaes
    Kang over Foupa-Pokam
    Macdonald over Quarry
    Loiseau over Herman
    Bielkheden+220 over Bocek

I got so close a couple of times now in guessing a majority of the fights so i gotta put another one of this together. Im really liking Silva, Chuck, Soszynski, Kongo, and Kang.

    Marshall over Magalhaes

I like Marshall too, but why are there no odds for this fight anywhere?

Is that Elliot Marshall? If so wow, that could be a really entertaining fight.

Ya i think they just put this fight together. Vinny obviously is sick with his BJJ but i honestly dont think he is ready for MMA. He is just a pretty boy. As soon as he gets hit, he will fold. I hope ha

I cant wait for Loiseau comeback, i hope he smases herman.

Im not sure why bielkheden is +220. He is going against Bocek who is less experienced and whose 4 out of 6 wins came by sumbmission. Bielkheden and his black belt train with Brazilian top team so I doubt bocek is going to get submitted. Biel has 5 decision loses and 4 decision wins, so we know he can go the distance which is great for a guy at +220. Bocek got submitted by the jack of all trades, Danzig, so Im counting on Biel and his black belt to seal the deal.

Considering how Bocek completely dominated Alvin Robinson on the ground,(who's also a BJJ black belt) I don't see much value in betting on Bielkheden.

Bocek is a BJJ black belt and pretty solid wrestler and I expect he will probably be spending most of the fight in a superior position.

That being said I've made a tiny bet on Bielkheden.

Yeah this is the bet on Silva -280 inside the distance, he will try to make people forget his lackluster fight against cote and go for the quick KO. Rumors are that Silva has been training with top BJJ guys getting ready for Leites. Leites needs to try to wear down Silva Like Dan Henderson was doing til he got caught in the 2nd rnd.

                      My quick picks

Liddell-This is the last draw for chuck a loss pretty much puts him way down the ranks and he will have no choice to retire or move up to heavyweight. I see chuck scoring the KO.I see shogun coming out alot better but gasing in the 2nd rnd.

Cane- A win against cantrell will put him a fight or 2 way from a title shot. he wins bye KO .

Kang- After a complete breakdown against Alan belcher a fight he was winning and got caught. I see him not losing in his home country.A few years ago he was one of the top 3 MW in the world and i still think he can make a run at a title someday in the UFC.

                      My upset picks

Nate Quarry - This is a tough fight to call. but i see nate stuffing the takedowns and scoring a TKO on Mcdonald.

Hardonk- at +220 this is a decent bet. Both guys very good strikers. Hardonk has some of the best kicks in the MMA game .Kongo has the strength and reach. But there is value in Hardonk.

Leites +390 - Even though A silva has beat everybody in the UFC very easy. I think Leites is the toughest ground guy fighter to fight silva in his career. if he can score the takedowns and waer down A silva he could score a late tko or sub or dec.

Longshot Leites byr 5rnd dec +1100

I think Liddell is almost a lock ... if you watched Sho Guns last fight, it was horrible, he almost lost to an old gassed out Mark Coleman. The fight before that he got whooped by Forrest Griffen. mt of Shoguns finishing moves are illegal in the UFC , Chucks chin is weakend, but i feel he will make it thru this, i think the UFC is milking Shogun to get a victory for Chuck Liddell over a big name. Happy Betting.

I feel the same way about the chuck/rua fight as i did about the shamrock/diaz fight. One of those fights I see a huge advantage in the styles matchup.

Well, were in business with the Eliot/vinny fights
                              Eliot- 125
                              Vinny -105

I am not going to do anything too crazy with eliot/Loiseau/Macdonald because i have more than enough money floating around on this event. I am going to risk to win a unit on each guy straight up. Vinny will fold from one punch, Loiseau is back and herman is plain bad, and macdonald will choke out quarry.

Just heard about this diamond on youtube and just confirmed it was at us open 2006. Vinny obviously is better than eliot in bjj but in a 10 min match it came to a draw. I am liking eliot even more now and his odds are getting better.

haha Wandy is getting mean with the spyder. Anderson was basically upset wandy moved down to 185, because of previous training and "friendship." This will be great, anderson is running out of comptetion anyways, so either he fights wandy or moves up to 205, which would be sick.

this is one of the shakiest UFC cards in awhile IMO as far as betting is concerned.

so far i like Loiseau.. may play Quarry also.

also might make VERY small plays on the 2 underdogs in the main events, though i have no clue how anyone beats spider (though i also thought there was no way the cardinals would make the superbowl lol).

doesnt look like the underdogs are doing much tonight.
