I really hope Mcmann doesnt try to touch gloves with shiela gaff, I've seen Gaff sucker punch off of a glove touch twice now lol.

#37I think the only way Davis gets a sub is if he gets a lucky rnc late in round 2 or 3 with vinny trying to make a comeback in the fight.Comment -

#43Have played Kongo by decision at +450, Vinny straight at +240 (wish I waited) and Not Davis ITD at -310.
I may jinx it, but F'in lol at Phil subbing Vinny, Sacrelicious.Comment -

#44Bisping, Davis straight up and both of these fights o2,5
small on kongo
not a very interesting event betting wise for me
I'm not sure why you guys love Vinny so much, perhaps I get to eat crow afterwards but that match looks to be a real stinker with horrible striking and dry humping for three rounds for a boring Davis decision.Comment -

#45It is the fact that both are lacking in the standup that makes me like Vinny at those odds. While I favor Davis to win by decision, Vinny has the BJJ to make Davis very uncomfortable when he goes for the TD. If Davis elects to stand and exchange for any prolonged time, he def shouldn't be the kind of favorite he is right now. If you want to play Davis, I really don't understand why you would not play the decision line. You're paying quite the premium in the off case he rattles Vinny's brain enough to get a finish.
i could be way off though. Wouldn't be the first time.Comment -

#47Kongo decision opened at +700? Holy crap! Would have put a sizeable chunk on that for sure.
Got Bisping/Belcher goes the distance at -135. Also have a couple of parlays that need Jones/Sonnen ITD.
Seems you've been able to catch better lines than me on pretty much all the plays we have in common.Comment -

#49the fact that he's talking about wanting to KO Belcher in 1st round and "old-school" on him is probably putting many off. Could all be rhubarb and hype but if he does go in all guns blazing his chances of winning are reduced considerably. Belcher has a better chin and has powerComment -

#52I dont know what that means, but Kongo is super old with a lot of injuries and a bad back. If he doesnt win in rd 1 the fight is over. But you can throw your money away if you want to. Nelson still has a lot of value.Comment -

#53Kongo and his upright stance and lack of head-movement seems prime material to eat a telegraphed Roy Nelson over-hand right!Comment -

#54I like my odds.
But thanks for the warning. I'll just have to hope you're not as accurate with bets on fat bearded guys as you are with women. Have taken a look at your thread, and I must say you really seem to know your WMMA.
Edit: True enough Vaughany. I just think that Kongo takes a decision more often than 18.18%. Won't exactly be surprised if he takes a nap instead tho. Could also lose a decision through getting rocked frequently.Last edited by Kaffe; 04-21-13, 04:11 PM.Comment -

#58Why is everyone so confident in Bisping? I've made a lot of money betting on Bisping over the years, but this is a terrible match-up for him, much worse on paper than Belfort was, given that the Belfort fight was five rounds. Belcher has solid cardio, very good BJJ and a big strength and power edge. Bisping doesn't have the tools to exploit the glaring holes in Belcher's game, and will mostly be fighting to his strengths. The more I play the fight out in my head, the more a Belcher KO seems more and more likely. Will be watching a lot of footage on this one before I lock in a bet, though.Comment -

#64If the odds are really good, then it's worth it for the possibility that Davis could HURT Vinny and then sub him. I could see him ground and pounding Vinny til Vinny is hurt and gassed out then locking up some sort of choke... Dude is good with subs, he could easily sub a hurt and gassed out Vinny. If you get nice dog odds for it, worth it.
You said something similar about Myles Jury beating Michael Johnson by Decision --- no one else was on Jury that night. I had him capped as the fav and he was the big dog and all you n00bs were on MJ...Comment -
