Welterweight tourney starts tonight. Does anybody have any picks for the card tonight?
Hoping that someone somehow comes out of it that can dethrone Askren.

I need to start betting fights when the lines are first announced, instead I usually wait til the last minute. Definitely like Taleb here also, as I havent been as impressed with Zaromskis as most people have been.

I'm interested in seeing who everybody likes tonight too.
I'm down on the Whitemare too. Taleb seems like a safe bet still at -150.
I like Lyman Good, but not alot at the current -250 price.
Guess who's stackin' gold and silver? THIS GUY

Only bet I'm on is Taleb over Zaramoskis -115. Should stand in the pocket and slug it out, then KO Zaromskis. Marius' weak chin can't stand up to his power.

LOL at Taleb! What a joke of an effort! Dude fought horrible and yet still almost won. All he had to do was not leave him chin on a platter for Zaromskis and he would have won all three rounds. Oh well.

One wrong pick and you mock me, LOL! I'm still up for the day and WAY up for the week (38-9).
Too bad I can only screen grab 3 days at a time, but 18-4 the last 3 days gets the point accross well enough:
Where were you to bash me when I went 4-1 on the last UFC? Or 4-0 on the last Strikeforce?
I love people who like you who are nowhere to be found when someone wins, but the second they lose a single bet, you pop up to bash them. Get a life.
dude stop f-cking bragging in general, but stop f-cking bragging about 4-0 in strikeforce. Every fighter on that card was like -400. 4-0 and 4-1 isnt impressive at all when you're betting large fav moneylines. Take that shit somewhere else because no one here cares.

LOL at defending yourself against a guy who randomly bashed you = bragging. If you don't want me to bring up stats that prove my success, don't try to discredit me. Simple as that.
Also LOL at you saying going a combined 8-1 isn't impressive. Even if they were all -400 favs (they weren't), going 8-1 would still be good. If it was soooo easy to just bet every big fav and win, squares would demolish the books.
And obvious someone cares about whether I win or lose -- that's how this ordeal got started. That one dude started bashing me for getting a bet wrong. You're always doing the same thing and randomly bashing me, so it's not surprising that you'd do it again here.
By the way, at UFC 152, 3/5 of my bets were at plus money, including one at +225, and one of them was at -150. Only ONE of the 5 was a big fav. And at Strkeforce, one of my bets was -130 and one was -140 -- 2/4, so again, I wasn't all on big favorites. And the Bellator bet mentioned in this thread was a guy who was only -110, AGIAIN, not a big favorite.
Funny thing is, I rarely bet big favorites. But hey, feel free to just keep pulling stuff out of your ass.

Congrats on the winners. However, the sample size is too small to mean anything, plus there are no lines listed, so it's pretty meaningless.
Also, I notice you have some bets in the racebook, seems like you're probably making some degenerate bets there. With the juice on horses its pretty much impossible to beat except for the cream of the crop cappers. Maybe your dad is a breeder, what the hell do I know.

No, I don;t touch the race book. I know NOTHING about racing. Those are live bets on Tennis. For some reason, they appear as "race book" on the graded wagers list.
Also, those money lines are -150 or lower (several underdogs). If a line is higher than that I parlay it. I don't like risking a big loss on a straight bet on steep juice.
And yes, that is a small sample size. The point was that the one clown was bashing me fore getting ONE bet wrong, as if I put my whole bankroll on a freaking -110 Bellator fight. I was just showing that I am still way up for the day.

Eh, B*tch Boy. When someone bestows the moniker of "Professional MMA Gambler" onto themselves, they should be held to a higher standard. Now ultimately I'd rather stay out of bashing other peeps on here because I don't wish bad on anyone, especially when it comes to money, I just think your completely full of sh*t. Now If I'm completely wrong, then so be it. If you wish not to be bashed then I think it's reasonable you extend the same courtesy, which you haven't in the past. Just my two cents.

Yes, because professional gamblers never lose a single bet. They all go undefeated every day, of every week, of every year. Obviously, if someone calls themselves a professional gambler, but loses a bet, they are a fraud and a horrible gambler. If you go 50-1 on a given week, you are clearly a joke of a gambler. You must go 50-0 to be considered a pro.
Losing 1 bet on an MMA fighter at even money = automatic demotion to "horrible gambler" status.
You must believe those spam emails that scammers send out, saying they have a record of 350-0.

No, every successful gambler is entitled to losing. It's part of gambling. Only problem is i just tend to see you picking the wrong side on a consistent basis. Not that i pay attention to your picks frequently but when i do, most of the time its sub .500. Not to mention that i have wasted an hour of my life listening to that unprofessional podcast your a part of. I won't make that mistake again...lol This is just my opinion. Obviously with those slick shades, cubic zirconia earrings, and fresh line up, I surely have no clue what I'm talking about. You do get an "A" for effort though.

LOL at you claiming to pay attention to my bets, yet say I go sub .500! You obviously pay no attention. I've only gone sub .500 on one UFC since may, when we started the "unprofessional" podcast. And I haven't gone sub .500 on a Strikeforce card all year.
But hey, Going 4-0 on the last Strikeforce, 6-3 on the last UFC, 3-1 on the one before it, for a combined 12-4 on the last 3 main MMA cards and making profit on each of them means nothing because I went 0-1 on a freaking -115 Bellator fighter. LOL!
Not to mention, I went 51-15 last week on all sports combined and 44-20 the week before, which was all documented. 105-35 is sub .500, right???

Like i said though, in your mind if your doing well and making your money, good job. I don't wish bad on a mans money. I guess I'm just going to have to deal with it now aren't I?

I just don't understand why you felt the need to start shit here. I don't even know who you are or anything about you, and have nothing against you. I didn't go out of my way and bash you. If you don't like me and my "garbage," then don't provoke me.

I didn't provoke you. Just watch what ya say to people because maybe your the one who is provoking. Besides, since when is some good ol fashioned ribbing so serious ? no need to get your panties in a bunch. I will admit though, when I've taken a bad beat, I myself can get bent out of shape sometimes so it happens. No biggie...

This sub-forum is not the most friendly place. People jump on each others backs and bash posters for losing a bet. I don't visit the UFC/Boxing sub forum too often for that reason. The constant negativity gets old and, unfortunately, contagious.
The MLB and Tennis sub-forums are much nicer.

Fury, you will find yourself getting bashed often because this is not sherdog, it's a forum for grown ass men who place real bets. It's not for little boys sitting in their mommys basement wearing her pearl earrings, pretending to be a pro gambler while she is upstairs putting the the icing on your toasters strudel.
If your father was around when you were growing up you might find it easier here, but since nobody has taught you how to be a man, you need some tough love. What self respecting man lets his son dress up and take pictures of himself to put on the internet, making up stories, acting like a diva and looking prettier than his own mother?
If I ever saw you Fury, I would take off my belt and whoop your punk ass right in front of your mommy and all your dork friends.
