    OK, I know it's fast.

Thanks to you and Raiders. Maybe I'll take a deeper dive into Solana.

I've mentioned my LTC use-case. Sportsbook funding/withdrawing works like a charm.

As for BTC, yes. I do sometimes find that Time/Cost is too high. But I don't move them too often.
I've been touting SOL as my number 1 hold outside of BTC for a long while now. Fee is $.0025 right now.

This week, PayPal (PYPL) announced that its stablecoin PYUSD would launch on the solana network, nearly a year after debuting on the ethereum blockchain. PayPal senior vice-president of blockchain, Jose Fernandez da Ponte, praised solana's cost and speed efficiencies, stating: "Ethereum works well enough, but if you’re interested in retail payments as we are, basically you need at least 1,000 transactions per second and you need transaction costs in the pennies, not in the dollars."
The ability of solana to handle large-scale blockchain movements is key to its value proposition. Solana can average 65,000 transactions per second (TPS). When compared with Ethereum’s 30 TPS, it becomes evident that the Swiss-developed blockchain is a major challenger to Vitalik Buterin’s brainchild,

Youtuber "The Modern Investor" has a new video declaring that alt coin season might be very near. Runs about 31½ mins.

Anyone remember back in the early days of Bitcoin that there were actually a couple of people making and selling Bitcoins - actually physical coins - a plated coin with a Bitcoin private key on them and offering them to the public? The government, of course, shut them down because, you know, money laundering. Those coins are now selling for substantially over face value at auction. The Modern Investor covers this story at the 21:21 mark in the above video. I'm guessing that the fellows that originally started this are probably set for life....

That's true. Your point is a good caveat.

My thesis on BTC ties out to the Supply/Demand chart. Limited supply makes it unique. And the Demand arguably continues to go up.

Eth ETF will get a yay or nay today - might lead to a spike one way or the other.... Some of the applicants had to revise their applications for "no staking". That is just outright protecting the banks. Why would anyone keep large sums in a bank when they can get double-digit APY staking in crypto?

Crypto has been getting some wins lately. It's gotten political and most (even some Dems) seem to be leaning pro-crypto. This despite Ms Warren and her anti-crypto army....

This guy has good charts. Go to 1:00:
*If you believe in the periodicity of BTC, the bull-run comes May-Dec of the 4x years.
    ...So May-Dec in 2012/2016/2020/2024.

If you believe in the fractals across time, that's a monthly gain in 20 of the L25 months. 80%, not bad.

Yes, Biggie. I've been in similar (if not identical) situations. When someone takes a shot at a family member, I'd much prefer that they say something about me to my face.

This scene was so good. The dealers are incorrigible, didn't accept the man's fair offer. They are scum, so no big loss. The classic situation: a man who was terminal cancer = a man with nothing to lose. That guy's read on the situation was not good at all. Bon voyage.

During the Vietnam War, the price of gold increased by more than 50%. During the Gulf War, the price of gold increased by more than 20%. During the Iraq War, the price of gold increased by more than 50%. These examples show that gold prices can be sensitive to wars and other geopolitical events.

Arky, you make some great points. People don't realize the implication of the USD as a mechanism to fund wars.

I've been observing Au + Ag. If not at such a rapid pace, they are slowly moving up. Au + Ag have been real money for 2000+ years, so I don't see that changing.

See my points above. People are wising up the junk-talk from US politicians. You can't just rationalize a currency.

Crypto prices have surged on signs of momentum toward US approval of exchange-traded funds investing directly in second-largest token Ether, a shift from a more downbeat outlook as recently as last week.

I don't think it gets approved but this caused the rally.

I think this is an important trend:

    1) WIS (as a state) invests in BTC funds.
    2) This is on the heels of many states changing their laws on Gold+Silver being legal tender.

I view this as being significant. The states are taking a closer stance on hard money (than the Fed Govt).
