#107That is exactly what I did and they haven't stopped me or said a word, did the last one yesterday. Deposit $250, play the rollover, withdraw. Rinse and repeat.Comment -

#109Wow. I never once did this. In fact, I've never cashed out on their site in the 10 years I've been playing on there, so obviously I am a big loser lifetime. I just deposited $7k of my own money, and they restricted me.Comment -

#110don't know if someone else already wrote this but- why didn't they just make the unlimited amount like $1000 or $2000 instead of $250??? the dude that deposited $7,000 made 28 bitcoin deposits of $250?? lmfao that's great!!Comment -

#111I think Bovada's clear marketing plan were 3 things.
1. 100% Bonus Bitcoin Promo - No book ever did this before that I can recall?
2. Very short rollover 5X
3. It was intended for "unlimited bitcoin payouts"
If you are wagering offshore... and you constantly do what these players are doing.... you wonder why you have hardly any books to choose from anymore?
It clearly says.... in every "BONUS PROMO" if you abuse the system.... you will have your bonus revoked and or possible acct closed.Comment -

#112$250 is the key part of their strategy on this bonus. They would not give unlimited otherwise.Comment -

#113It's a 5x rollover only if you win. If they made it $1,000 and get $1,000 free then place a $2,000 bet there is no rollover if you lose. They must have felt $250 is a fair/obtainable amount for everyone.Comment -

#117I had a similar experience. Deposit ~7k via bitcoin the past 10 days or so, $250 at a time. Woke up this morning to see this message:
Account Status
This is a quick note letting you know that after careful deliberation and investigation, our Investigations team has decided to remove bonus eligibility from your account. The way the 100% Bitcoin Kickoff Bonus was being taken advantage of is explicitly against our terms of use. We assure you we didn't make this decision in haste.
It looks like they have removed the 100% Unlimited Bitcoin promo from my Available Bonuses, but my previous bonuses are still there. At first I was thinking they had revoked all of my bonuses, but it looks like they are honoring them, and I have lost eligibility for any future deposits. Is this the case? I just want to make sure my bonuses aren't taken away. I don't care about depositing any more, I was done depositing anyways.Comment -

The simple thing is that if Bovada only wanted players to take the bonus for $2k or whatever, just offer a one-time 100% up to $2k bonus, or just offer the 100% up to $250 but only make it valid for eight $250 deposits after which the bonus ends for that player. They did nothing of the sort, so they opened themselves up to players making an unlimited amount of deposits, as per the terms of the promotion that Bovada wrote themselves.
If they don't like players doing that, then they shouldn't have wrote the terms the way they wrote them. It is stupid for any bookmaker to say that a bonus has been "taken advantage of", when the player didn't break any rules at all. The bookmaker holds all the aces and decides the terms of the promotion for goodness sake, so if a player proceeds to go with that promotion to the letter of those terms, then they shouldn't be penalised whatsoever, it's as simple as that.
There is absolutely nothing wrong whatsoever with the player simply playing by the rules, of which those rules were clearly set out by the bookmaker themselves in the first place for goodness sake, so if the bookmaker didn't like the way they wrote the rules, then it's the bookmaker's fault for not writing the terms of the promotion the way they would have liked them, and the player is not at any fault whatsoever as all the player has done is simply complied with the terms of the promotion that the bookmaker has put in front of them.Last edited by luctens; 10-04-16, 07:39 PM.Comment -

#123Well if a bookmaker says the bonus is unlimited then what do you think some players are going to do? Use it to the max of course. And who decides what is defined as "abusing the system"? The bonus said unlimited and the guy was doing as many deposits as possible to take advantage of an unlimited bonus, it was all under his account and nobody else's, and everything he was doing was as per the terms and conditions, so that's in no way "bonus abuse" whatsoever. The only way it would have been that the player would be in the wrong is if it was a situation similar to if for example if it was a one-time offer and he was doing deposits from other accounts in other people's names in order to take advantage of the bonus more than once when he was only entitled to it once himself, if he was doing something like that then it would be against the terms of the promotion, but what the player did wasn't against the terms of the promotion at all. It said that you could deposit from your account an unlimited amount of times and all of those deposits would qualify for the promotion, and that's what he did, and there absolutely nothing wrong with that at all.

#125Thank you! Finally someone with some sense. Not to mention that I had spoken to 4 or 5 different Bovada representatives and I was completely transparent in what I was doing, and every single one of them told me I was in compliance with the terms of this promotion. Sounds like a bunch of bitter wash-ups in this thread... I can't believe they are sympathizing with the sportsbook in a situation like this. Sad!
Not bitter nor washed up. My point was that what you did is the reason books don't generally offer these types of promo any longer. They used to be often years ago but are very rare nowadays. The unlimited part Im sure was for those who busted out or even wanted to stack a few on top of each other, not 28 or whatever. And not sympathizing with book, just stating fact.Comment -

#126It is fair game both ways. Bovada does not have to give anybody a bonus. If they give one, a person can take as many as Bovada will allow. If they allow unlimited, they are free to deposit as many times as Bovada will allow. They allowed 28. They said that was enough for a lifetime. That is their option.
They gave unlimited to let people do several transfers without making it a specific amount because different people have different abilities to transfer bitcoin.
Obviously, some people are going to try to take full advantage and it is up to Bovada to set a limit.Comment -

#127It's certainly the risk both sides run here, we all know the books can shut us down any time they want to. If I want to play with a bonus I always ask a book for what I want, they can always say no and I move on or accept what they offer. I've been getting a lot of calls from other books while the Bovada bonus was going on, I've told them I have a better option and if they were happy to offer the same I would make a deposit, not one bit.Comment -

#128It is disappointing that bovada would restrict bonuses for players that deposited for the unlimited bitcoin deposit promo when bovada told the players it was fine to make many deposits. However, I do think it is reasonable for bovada to restrict bonuses for players that did the daily deposits and withdrawals since this seems like bonus abuse based on their terms.Comment -

#130Agree, but I never made a single withdrawal, and still haven't. Apparently I am the only one who has had this problem. All I did was make deposits, and they made my account ineligible for any more bonuses. I understand, it is reasonable on their part because I could have gotten them for a lot of money in expected value, but they were the ones offering the unlimited promotion, and I was told by 4 or 5 different Bovada reps that I was well within their terms and conditions while making the deposits.Comment -

#132Does anyone else notice that all the bets do not seem to count for the rollover. when i check my transactions it says bonus released to cash after most settled wagers but some do not say this. I thought all bets count towards rollover?Comment -

#133i would just keep track of the rollover yourself unless its too complicated, meaning you made a lot of deposits etc. once you get to your target everything should be ok. that's what i do at least and everything turns out to be correct. their charts on the bonuses sometimes seem weird i know.Comment -

#135If you complete rollover on one day, any additional bets do not count toward rollover that day. The rollover starts the next day on the next bonus. Also, if you bust out on the deposit on one bonus, you will have to meet rollover on that deposit before any additional bets start to count for the next rollover. That's a couple of little tricks they have for this bonus.Comment -

#136Bovada told me all wagers count towards the rollover (see below) which makes sense and is consistent with the rules of the promotion and I am sure they will honor this being an A rated sportsbook.
Youare correct that all wagers count towards the rollover of the 100% FootballKickoff Bonus! Unlimited Bitcoin for any sports in the Sports channel; however,if your wagers were cancelled, refunded or tied, these would not contribute toit.<u2></u2
