Triple-A/Minor league baseball game. Ever been?

Anyone here ever been to a minor league baseball game?

I will be attending my second one this Thursday. Last year I went, but really didnt pay attention to the game. Just went to hang out and shoot the shiet with some friends. Thats pretty much what Im going to do this time as well, but will be taking my 3 1/2 year old son. Good thing the wife is going to, so she can chase him around and drive me home.

So I just thought I would ask and see if anyone as ever went to a minor league game, and how they liked it.

I've been to a couple of double-A Games in Orlando several years ago...

Quite enjoyable, between-inning entertainment as good as the game.. but then the entertainment was Disneyfied

Thats the one I went to last year, and the same match up this year.

Also feel free to vote if you have been to a minor league game, dont have to be a triple-A game.

I used to go all the time in Vegas and Colo Springs, only been to 3 MLB games.

i have never been to one. although, i do know quite a few people that have. they all tell me it's quite an experience.

been to independent league games....very fun and great prices...

I attend several minor league games per year, mostly in San Antonio (AA for Mariners) or Round Rock (AAA for Astros). Hoping to make a game in Corpus Christi (Houston's Double-A) later this summer. Really love the intimacy of the ballparks and, like Buddy Bear said, how you can walk up and usually get great seats for a third or less the price of a major league game.

Well, Im going to another minor league game today. Got to love those free tickets. Thursdays are dollar beer night as well.
