What did you guys about Robinson pulling LeCroy in the middle of the inning? I have never seen a ctacher replaced in the middle of an inning like that. (excluding injury)

I was watching the game and it had to be done. Lecroy's throws weren't even catchable...well..i mean...the centerfielder almost had to dive for it so it wouldn't short hop him..but yeah..although Fick isn't *much* better..they wouldn't activiated the bullpen catcher to get him in there just to try and save the game. It was awful.

My thought exactly. I couldn't figure out why Robby was so choked up about making that move. I mean, when Mo Ensberg is running on you, then get a new catcher in there.

Last position player I recall being lifted (other than a double switch) in the middle of an inning was Andruw Jones a couple of year back. Bobby Cox was livid with his pathetic showboating in center, and pulled his ass. I was actually surprised that Cox didn't do this a week or so ago when Adam LaRoche loafed to 1B on a routine grounder that opened the floodgates in an ATL loss.

wouldn't you guys cry too, if you had a team that doesn't play very hard half the time.

theres something about that nats team this year, and just can't put my finger on it.

They stole seven bases off of Lecroy and still lost. That in itself is amazing.
