imgv, you're on a nice little mini-roll this week, so I'm hesitant to tell you anything. However, wanted to at least clear up some of the stats you have on BOS-TAM.

From 2003-2005, i.e., the last three seasons, Boston holds an overwhelming 39-18 edge in this series. The Sox have that lopsided margin thanks mostly to a 24-5 record against the Rays at Fenway.

Tampa is 13-15 against Boston in Tampa during that span, and the 8-10 mark you quoted is their record at home against the Sox in 2004-05.

At home against his former mates in 2005, Fossum faced the Sox one time, and got the win. However, he got that win as a vulture out of the pen and not as the Rays' starter in the game.

Clement has been bashed around this year, true. But his best start came against the Rays in Boston on Apr 18th. He worked into the 8th inning and no-decisioned. Counting that game, Clement is 3-0 in five starts against Tampa with a 2.85 ERA, one homer allowed --- To Wiggington in his last start --- and 24 Ks in 28.1 IP.

His only start in Tampa came last Jul 26th when he was clanged on the head in the bottom of the third by a Carl Crawford line drive.

Now the memory of that line drive finding his noggin could be enough to have Clement uneasy in this one. But Clement is not the pansy against Tampa overall that he has been so far this year against others. The only hitter in this lineup that has caused him trouble over the years is Russell Branyan (4 HR, 14 AB). Branyan has also struck out in seven of those 14 AB.

Well it seems like I finallt have something to work
with. Alot of my losses was from following people
and losing by 1 run. I think I figured it out a little
bit. Hopefully I can keep this up. I have been capping
my ass off man and really picking my spots carefully..
