He felt it was reasonable to bring in Justin Dueschbag instead of his star closer when his team led by 2 in the ninth inning. Street, the defending AL rookie of the year, and probably the second best closer in the AL, is completely healthy and rested. This is simply the latest in a long line of boneheaded decisions that have kept this team from going further than the first round of the playoffs.

i just found out the reason why Street wasn't in there to close today. he had a strained muscle in his chest is why didn't close the game.Comment
