tough loss for you d'back bettors tonight, but even a worse loss for poor Illusion. what made matters even worse for ILL was the fact i have to give him the play by play of the 9th inning over the phone, because he wasn't home.

btw, i never heard anyone cuss more than ILL did during that 9th inning phone call.

I like Chris Young, but he's a fly ball pitcher and they are a tough gamble in Coors.

Not really. After what the Rockies did to them in Petco last week you knew they would rebound, easy cover and didn't even sweat this one out. I don't post picks often but when I post 10 unit picks they usually cover. I have posted four ten unit picks in the last two months and I am 4-0.

Pads +112 (tonight)
Blazers +13 (vs Clippers)
Japan -105, etc (WBC Classic final)

I got grief from somebody before the game was even played but they were all easy covers.

Wow....it's 2am and I had to get up to see if my going to sleep trick worked. It never fails. Giants have been an ugly team to watch for years but they seem to find a way to get wins. I do feel badly for Illusion. Wasn't fading his big game just thinK Zona is a bad baseball team and Giants had value at that price.

To come back from being down 7-0 only to blow a lead...wow.

It wasn't nearly that bad since I won Arizona team total over 5, but man...what a game.
