I took Dodgers -1.5. Expecting a better performance from Jae Seo than what he showed in first 2 starts. Don't trust Hennessey at all and think he might struggle tonight.

You haven't been watching the Giants much, huh? Durham is worthless, I'd leave him on the bench. He's good for 1 or 2 extremely crazy hot streaks a year, the rest of the year, he blows, not to mention poor fielding at crucial times.

I'm playing Giants. Starting pitching is not a factor one way or the other. I expect a lot of runs and over all I think the Giants are the better team. Covers.com has a write up on this game and if you put any stock in trends they seem to point toward the Giants.

yeah he's sucked so far this year but so has Sweeney. Durham is about a .280 career hitter who usually has a decent OBP and doesn't strike out much. Plus he won't clog up the basepaths..and although not a speedster like he used to be..will still remind pitchers not to bounce breaking balls in the dirt to Bonds.

On the Giants here, mostly due to the nice odds and the fact that Seo has been pitching like a dog this season.

I watch this team everyday. Not saying Sweeney is anything great, but he's only had 16 ABs in very limited duty this year and he has been hitting the ball a lot harder than the stats indicate. In the series against Atlanta, he hit like 4 hard shots that were right at people or stopped by great defensive plays.

Durham, on the other hand, is dead salary, imo. His idiotic decision not to get in front of the grounder in the 8th last night gave the Dodgers their insurance run and changed the dynamics of the 9th inning for Baez and the Dodgers.

I was wondering why the Dodgers fans were booing Mark Sweeney so loudly - until I realized Bonds had stepped out of the dugout.

If you see Pedro Gomez on the street, you know Barry Bonds is not far away.

Maybe in his 2nd AB. At least he made contact, granted it was a pop out to 3B.

Feliz sucks....I think I've seen that guy bat 20 times and have some distant memory of him getting a hit.

You are preaching to the choir. When he connects (rarely), then it can go far, but he's pretty much a reliable 80% plus guy to ground into a double play when he's up there with the bases loaded.
