I am leaning STL myself. Both teams are coming off sweeps of 2 horrid NL West teams, so I wouldn't read too much into that. Seth McClung is a pretty mediocre pitcher but Joel Piniero is not great either. MIL is the better team, but McClung is scary.

Methinks the safest bet in the Cards game is the Over. I think each team will score at least 5 runs. With the total set at 9, the Over seems an easy call.

piniero been over achieving winning the last 3 games but still has a losing record 7-8 not to mention within them 3 wins a Shit whip at 1.94 and a mediocre era of 5.29

the only thing that would make me lean to cards is the fact they dropped the last two to brew and on the season down 5-3 but if they lose tonight have 2 more to cut it closer

Hmm, I prefer St. Louis to Milwakee in that game. St. Louis has home town advantage, the Brewers have to travel. McClung is hot garbage. Pinero is hot garbage too but held his own against Philly and the Mets I believe..Plus the Brewers bullpen is butt.. Advantage St. Louis. I might play the overs as I think that may be the best bet here..

Beating the Phillies is no big deal nowadays. I'm not sold on Pineiro for holding out against the Phillies.
Given the Brewers most recent performances including a win against Lincecum, I think the Brewers have the edge in this one. I can't bet a dime on any side though. My best lean in this game is the Over.
