On a serious losing streak and I just went on life-support. Don't take me too seriously, but these are my picks, and why:
Tigers -1.5 3 units +120
Twins -1.5 3 units +150
Rokies -1.5 3 units +100
Got a parlay working, as well.
-Tigers are 18-4 against lefties. Verlander has won 4 of last 5 and the Tigers won last 5 Verlander starts. Verlander covered the run line in last four wins.
-Twinkies are mashing the Rangers, 20 runs, last 2 games. Padilla got shelled for 15 runs in his last 2, Twins are heating up in their own dome. Baker's demonstrated good control winning 4 of last 5 decisions.
-Rockies have won every game of the series by the run line. Colorodo does much better against lefties, 15-12. Pirates lost last 2 of Duke's starts, by 5 and 6 runs.

White Sox OVER 4.5 (-115)
A great recipe today for the ChiSox to put some runs on the board. Brian Bannister is the main ingredient. The Royals righty has been awful on the road this season. He's yielding over 8 runs per road start and just twice in 7 road starts has the opposition failed to score at least 7 runs! Take into account that Bannister gave up 5 ER in his last start vs. CHI on July 9th and then dating back to '07 - the White Sox scored 5,6 & 7 runs in starts by Bannister - Chicago should have plenty of opportunities to get past this # today.
