Recently sent a letter to both Commissioner Selig and Marlins owner Jeffrey Loria detailing why San Antonio is NOT the best place to move the Florida Marlins. My reasons hinged primarily on SA being a hardcore football town and suggested that, 10 years from now, a major league team in San Antonio would be in the same shape as the Marlins are now in Miami. Even put a year of my services, free of charge, on the line with my notions.
Got a reply back from Selig, and I quote...
That is something I've yet to hear Selig say publicly since he has been very quiet the last couple of weeks with all the hubbub about talks with San Antonio being "serious."

Selig: "We are going to try very hard to keep this team in Florida, and I promise you I will do everything I can to make sure the Marlins will be the Florida Marlins for generations to come."
