Grumpy, don't take this the wrong way but playing 4team parlays for 3-4 units each will kill ur roll. It will frustrate u even more. Parlays should be no bigger than 1unit/3teamer IMO

Couldn't agree more. I learned this the hard way myself. I was the biggest sucker for parlays ever and it took me quite some time to get the big picture. Now I will play a 3 teamer every once in a while and 2 teamers on games that I'm confident in (to reduce the juice.) I like what you're doing here Grumpy, keep plugging away. Best of luck sir.

Waited for that, and when it comes from two of the people I respect the most I should respond.
As you guys know, all I do are singles, doing that for years, when things go wrong like for me lately, the correct thing is to stick strong to those singles and bet smaller, which I did, but when I feel there is a good card and I can take advantage of it, I will do so, and I believe the results are here, and will show very soon.

But I agree in general 100%.

2-1 RedSox BOT of the 7th. A win will give me a 4 teamer that will officialy turn things around for me. A lose and things keep going bizzre for me ... Let's see how it ends.

Dw grumpy i'm also in same situation for ever since NBA ended... I took lakers at -4.5 and they won by 4... Let's hope we can both turn things around soon.. Maybe a break or change of sport for a small period is ideal..Good luck I truly hope your parlays pay off

as for the new thread, like most here, i'm not having a dig, but I agree with what has been said about parlays.

I also thought the point of the new thread was to get back to disciplined basics of picking a 1-2 (with occasionally 3) straight up winners per day. when you're in a slump, playing more games doesn't usually help (see old thread) and i can't see parlays being any better!

VERY painful. It is the point, but if you break all the plays I had yesterday I hit everything but two, so whoever tailed as singles made a profit. I know what I am doing and know how this year will end - well.
