Did he forget that the NL doesn't have the DH?

This is almost as confusing as Sosa deciding RFK was a good place to revive his career.

i guess not winston. besides, he wanted to go back to being a full time catcher, and the pads offered him that chance.

I thought he wanted to start playing 1st base more, or was that the Mets that wanted that? This is confusing. Plus Petco is a pitchers park, his numbers should come down this year.

the mets wanted to him to play first base more than catch. he didn't want to do that at all.

as far as petco being a pitchers park. well, as long as he is getting 2 million a season i'm sure he won't care

Wow, I don't know about that. Cheapest organization that manages to field a competitive team, maybe. They do a good job in that regard.

they did lose there catcher to baltimore this year, so they had to do something to fill that hole.

I agree, it's gonna be weird seeing him in a Padres uniform.

i don't think it's going to be that wierd at all ILL. you gotta remember, he did play out in LA for years. if he went and played for an AL team, well then i would agree.
