    best off season moves
i know everyone likes the blue jays off season moves and all. even though i don't agree with all the moves they made. they did improve there team quite a bit.

the yankees sign Damon, and some people say they made the best off season moves. i personaly find that funnier than shit really.

the dodgers look good on paper this year. that is if you use a time machine and go back about 3 years

Mets made some good moves, and should improve their team.

Marlins made alot of moves to help out other teams, and thats really nice of them.

the mets did make some good moves this off season. but, when they signed 48 year old julio franco, they reverted back to there old ways.

        -Texas signing Millwood
        -Detroit signing Kenny Rogers
-Marlins signing Miguel Olivo(not a huge name but he'll put up some decent numbers down there)
-A's signing Frank Thomas *if healthy

        -Braves trading for Renteria
        -White Sox trading for Thome
        - Phillies trading for Rowand
-Red Sox trading for Beckett/Lowell(although Lowell's contract sucks)

        couple of worst signings-

        Cubs- Scott Eyre
        Cubs- Jaque Jones
        Yankees- Kyle Farnsworth
Dodgers- Rafael Furcal(way too much money)

I expect big year for yankees. 105 wins. Mets look good on paper.

Mets should improve as year goes on,as new players get adjusted
          to one another.

Dodgers expect to a start like 14-6 and end up barely over .500

Padres watch out for them, they could surprise. Piazza was
          a great signing.

hitting they have. pitching I still think they won't have. They have a lot of old and overhyped pitchers. They *could* win 100 but I really doubt it.

                        i do agree

the mets did make some good moves during the off season, but i don't think they will be there in the hunt when its all said and done.

The Metropolitans' starting pitching still has to prove itself to me. The only locks on my list are the Rockies and Royals for the bottom of their divisions.
