For some reason the Yanks just don't know how to hit against starting pitchers they've never seen before it happened earlier against the Mets this year to.

It seems like all rookies making their debut win. Especially against the Yanks. Arrieta of the Orioles won his MLB debut which was against the Yanks.

I forgot about that. Good point.
This is embarrassing for NYY.

Let's see how many more outs the Yanks can give the Indians this inning. I think they're up to about 6 this inning

They could have gotten out of the inning allowing just 1 run but Cano came off the base and they didn't get the man at 1st either so the bases got loaded. Yanks gonna lose tonight. Damn Indians. Down 2 after 4 innings.

Yeah, it's nice to see the Yanks get it handed to them. As much as I wager on them, I hate that team.

The veterans are starting to play back to form and the rookies are developing faster than I thought. There's two or three potential all-stars in there.

A-Rod's such a head case. Typical of him to get stuck on 599 and go into a slump.

you know what i've noticed? the fans are (unintentionally) fking with him. watch every time they deliver a pitch to him - flashbulbs everywhere. it was really pronounced last night as the sun went down more. go figure, Cleveland fans, trying to grab a piece of sports history, are fkn up sports history. that's my town.
anyway, i can tell you guys are pulling hard for Yanks, so i won't be the jerk who comes in the thread and puffs out his chest when his crappy home team he didn't bet on is winning early. BOL with your play, i'm sort of expecting Tribe to go down tonight, and think they could be nice value next 2 games.

i believe that baseball tonight just said that "of last 6 pitchers to make major league debut vs Yankees, teams have gone 5-0." i have no idea how 6 starts led to 5-0 record (rain-out?), but worth noting for the future.
