Does anyone have any research on over/under win rates past 5 seasons in the month of April? With new pitchers, new batters and new styles, I would imagine overs might hit more often as teams cannot scout new pitching and batting tendencies. Sort of how new MLB players can often start very hot 0.400 batting etc and then pitchers adapt to their style.

It's pretty even Eagles, with the over hitting just under 52% in April

According to my records when you start to account for vig, using closing lines, you find that betting the same unit on the OVER in April, regardless of the line from the 2014 through 2018 would have yielded more than +20 Units, depending on your number. The peak would have been in 2016, where the bettor would have been up nearly +35 Units.

It's a tight market though, with ROI being less than 1.5%.

It's an Under era right now, if you would have just bought every under 8.5 over the last 6 years you would have...
