Everyone is betting against Wakefield. 42 yr old Knuckle baller gets no respect.

I still like my play if it comes to a 1 run defecit against the twins bullpen, I will take the Sox bullpen over the Twins any day of the week.

You mean the Twins bullpen that is 5th in the majors in ERA and the Red Sox bullpen thats 18th?
I know its a small sample, but the Twins bullpen has been pretty damn good so far this year.

We've gotta hope for yet another late inning meltdown by the Twins to get this victory. I don't see the Twins blowing this, but stranger things have happened.

Wishful thinking. But you're right, stranger things have happened.
And I wouldn't put it past the Sox to turn their fire on anytime soon now...

I have questions about this Twins bullpen, like you said a small sample, although twins posting above 5 ERA at home.
I have followed Boston for years, and know these guys to be solid.
No solid stats to back up my claims.

They've played 2 games at home which most of that ERA is the 3 run inning yesterday.
Obviously the Red Sox bullpen is better, I'm just saying the Twins bullpen is better than people think.

Red Sox are hopeless this yr. This yr's squad is put together all wrong. They lack toughness and character.

Apologies. I did not necessarily mean another Twins meltdown, but as we all know, once a starter leaves, bad things happen often.

Lucked out on that under.
Beltre hit into a DP with bases loaded 1 out.
Doesn't look too good for Red Sox nation this year.

Really an awful game, I feel a bit dumber for capping it with the Red Sox on top, Goes to show you about surprises at the beginning of the season, older pitchers don't have it any more, and newer pitchers fall into their groove.
