From the posts I've seen of yours, we have very similar luck/experiences.

Getting drilled in late innings recently, constantly losing bets in the final 1/3 of the game or extra innings. I don't know if it's just bad luck or if I need to start doubting my picks.

Maybe we'll get lucky here against Rivera.

The minute Lee had to leave the game, we were fvcked. Texas threw everything but the kitchen sink at the Yanks bullpen-wise last night, and they all looked gassed.

When Texas was up 6-1 I thought this couldn't prove they're going to be a legitimate force during the playoffs, but now that they've blown it I think it's proof they aren't. Especially stranding a lead-off triple in the bottom of the 9th while down 1. If their 2, 3, and 4 batters can't get him in, they won't be productive enough when it counts. Cliff Lee was acquired in vain.
