That pen makes me wanna but at least they helped us cash. Angels and dodgers both need a frontline starter, w/o that, they won't survive a 7 game series IMO. Angels need a bullpen revamp as well, too many late inning collapses. Fuentes doesn't scare anybody

The dodgers dont have a "star" per say but they have great starting pitchers. Billingsly, Kershaw, Monasterios have been damn good. You also have Ely who is pitching pretty well for a rook and Kuroda who is also a good pitcher with nice ERA with an average record.

The dodgers dont have a "star" per say but they have great starting pitchers. Billingsly, Kershaw, Monasterios have been damn good. You also have Ely who is pitching pretty well for a rook and Kuroda who is also a good pitcher with nice ERA with an average record.

U may be right but they do face az and sd all year. I do think they can take the west but they need more to take the phils and possibly the yanks. La ( either team) needs cliff lee.

Kerfax seems to be getting better and better.
Kuroda is serviceable.
Ely's a very underrated rookie.
Monesterios is hit and miss.

I wouldn't bet against them in the West, but they better be careful.

kershaw is there only decent pitcher...billingsley just aint the same pitcher he was and as far as the other guys i would hate to have to count on them when it matters most...give me lincecum, cain, zito and sanchez and ill take my chances

SF pitching is better, no doubt but the dodgers staff is a very underrated pitching staff that can get it done. But lets also not forget that the giants bats cannot compete with even the bottom half of the dodgers. The dodgers 1-7 bats are awesome.
