Exactly. This is no knock against Scherzer by any means, just couldn't pass up Cueto at this price in what should be a tight game.

Don't know who has the inside track, but Yankees, Blue Jays, Dodgers and Astros are all known to have interest.

He could be a better fit in the AL, my opinion, he wouldn't have to bat, prolong his career, and they don't see him much. I would guess the NYY have the money, as they never have been afraid to spend. the astro's, they are young and probably wouldn't sign him long term. I still say the red Sox need and "ace", but John Henry isn't known for spending huge money. Probably will know in two weeks I guess. Can't see the LAD having 3 aces for huge money???

Oh they probably can. And if they get Cueto, they become legit World Series favorites. I know they are the actual World Series favorites right now odds-wise, but Washington has a deeper rotation.

just curious on why your taking phil/dodgers under7?? Especially after what happen in last night game.. In my write up(last night pick) I showed how I got some strong insider info regarding the effort expected from the Phillies lineup for the remainder of the season and it has shown CRYSTAL CLEAR.. Specifically, the team has made the decision to not "compete" if that makes any sense. They'll be leaving relievers IN when they might otherwise be lifted from the game and we've seen this multiple times over the last week or so...

I gotta ride the insider info and take phil/dodgers over 7
